it's rather embarrassing if you have a car and you have no idea how to open up the hood seems like an easy enough thing to do and on the Mini Cooper there's been some serious challenges to it now this is a 2009 any year before this 2009 the latch is located under the dashboard on the right side by the glovebox now in 2009 they relocated on the left side like an intelligent company would maybe it's because they drive on the other side of the road in England and that's why it was on the right side but now when you get here here's the challenge you're gonna be feeling underneath here for something obvious and it's not going to be obvious there's a little latch here that you have to push on that's right here it may seem like an easy enough location but if you're really searching for it you wouldn't you're just like under here searching with your fingers and you just got to know exactly where that latch is located and that's where it is so I'm Greg your car angel thanks for watching I'll see you in the next video take care
