another quick video on the eyelet setter these here we actually call these grommets because we supply the washer with them eyelets are actually something that does not include a washer we do not carry the eyelet the grommet gives you a much better set because you've got this little washer you can put on there and basically what you do is you punch your hole like so place it through there put the washer on the back and now this setter works for all the smaller eyelets or grommets it's a little different than the other tool that will sell basically put it down on there like that and it kind of does a little bit of a flower type mushroom on it and that's basically all you do when you're setting that if you're pounding it too hard you want to be careful that you don't smash the the nice side of the grommet one thing you can do there is you could lay another piece of leather underneath of it like that and then when you're when you're pounding it's not going to damage your grommet so that is how to set a grommet in the smaller sizes
