Applying Componendo & Dividendo, $$\frac{x+2}{x-2}=\frac{2\sqrt2+(\sqrt2+1)}{2\sqrt2-(\sqrt2+1)}=\frac{3\sqrt2+1}{\sqrt2-1}=\frac{(3\sqrt2+1)(\sqrt2+1)}{2-1}$$
