the most common question I get is how I clean the sand in my betta tank I've been waiting for things to get a little bit dirty but some unfortunately this is as much debris as Logan allows to accumulate you see here the remnants of a snail that's a Logan roughed up and the remains of some of the shell from when Logan shedder actress exoskeleton now it's actually quite easy what you need is a rubber tube and what you're looking around right now are both ends of a rubber tube I've went ahead and filled this with water what you don't see is that I have a bucket below my tank what I'm going to do now is I'm going to put my thumb over one end of the tube and stick that inside the bucket the other end of the rubber tube I'll put inside the tank I'll keep in mind my thumb is still covering the end of the tube that's in the bucket no move Logan out of the way both and as soon as I let go the other end of the tube it's going to start sucking and what I'm going to do now is I'm going to guide the to where I see some debris you're going to get out you're going to pick up a little bit of sand but that's okay okay now that that's done you can see sand is virtually spotless and that's how I clean the sand in my baited sac pretty easy
