Please explain how to bake a deep 6 inch round madeira cake

Hello and welcome to Meadow Brown bakery in this video I'll be showing you how to bake her 6-inch round Madeira cake start off by preheating your oven to 130 degrees Celsius put sugar and butter in a bowl and mix them until they're nice and smooth add in your vanilla extract and mix and then add in your eggs one at a time and mix well between each egg added when you finish using up all your eggs add in the flour and mix until it's nice and smooth get your prepared cake tin I've just lined the bottom with the grease proof paper and I've buttered and floured the sides put the mixture into the prepared cake tin and smooth over with a knife bake in the preheated oven for 80 to 90 minutes test with a toothpick to see if it's ready when it's ready loosen the sides with a spatula to help release the cake easily and then put your cake on a cooling rack to cool completely when it's cooled down I'm going to cut the cake in half just to see what it looks like inside as you can see it's nice and cooked through thanks for watching and see you again soon www.meadowbrownbakery.com
