hey guys today I'm going to show you how to clean your burners on your stovetop alright your stovetop is going to look something like this might be a little different but this one here is actually an American range so what you're going to do is these top grates here will lift right off got your front got your back and these here are your actual burners alright if the unit's been on and these are hot you're going to want to wear gloves while you're doing this but most of the time these will lift straight up straight back and you'll be able to take them entirely out alright this one here you can see is a little bit dirty but what you want to do is you want to take this and soak it in the sink with soapy water don't use anything acidic so no cleaners or anything like that just standard dish soap and water let it soak get as much of the debris off the outside as you can you can use a pipe cleaner on the inside but the main thing you want to remember is you do not want to replace these until they're 100% dry if you try to replace them before they're dry you risk cracking the burner itself and these are not cheap so once they're clean you set them straight back in place and usually they'll lock right in there just like that the back one is the exact same way just lifts up and out this one here is going to be a little bit longer but same concept soak in soapy water and then once it's a hundred percent dry replace just the way that it came out all right and don't forget to put your top grades back and that's all there is to it so hopefully this helps you out if it did give us a thumbs up if you have any questions comment below or if there's anything else you'd like to see be sure to subscribe to our channel for the latest updates on commercial kitchen equipment and for premium access to our videos click the link below thanks for watching
