making a warm bin or making the starting a warm bed so today I'm gonna show you how to make a warm bin from a plastic container like this so this is a nineteen gallon tote the gallon tote and what I did was to make I make a little hole here and I I just put this little faucet over here so that I can empty I gotta empty any build-up of water that's in the one bin usually I don't have buildup of water and the one in this one bin but just to make sure this is drainage somewhere if you don't want you can just link up blow holes at the bottom of a plastic container so what do you need first is you need a bedding for the ones and the type of ones we're gonna be putting in here the red wigglers so you can use peat moss so you can use pigments like that pretty much regular pigments that comes in the bag like that so to do the bedding so let's start with the peat mud so the equipment is extremely dry so what you want to do is you want to mix it up with water and you want it to have it sponge wet sponge consistency so so you wanna mix it up with water let me just wear my clothes here you want to make sure you don't have it too wet or too soft so you're trying to get a wet sponge course is there soon it's about year one case we move around and you're gonna make the make the big models based on the quantity or the size of your container so I'm gonna use this for two containers so that's why I'm making the smart self so you just have to make it foreign to the size of the container you're gonna use so now it has a wet sponge consistency it's not too not too dry and since I'm gonna be adding someone amendments and some other cantaloupe system that that I'm gonna be that's gonna have a lot of water so I'm just gonna this is to be enough and she'll be able to go with this so this we just we can just put it in the container put the rest of the food inside our big mouth mixture musk mixtures ready to go so what we gonna do now is we're gonna add our once so this is the ones that we and I got some the other bin so you just spread them on top like that that's fine you're gonna find our way to the bottom and you want to put what are you gonna eat you can put like a search and put is that cantaloupe watermelon banana and you can also add coffee grounds add some coffee grounds good CFT teabags eggshells and then we're just gonna cover it covered that's moist in to prevent light from getting into the bin and that's it then you just put it in a nice dry cool area and they should be able to get more one castings and better compost for your garden if you loved the video please give it a thumbs up if you have any questions or comments also just leave it below I'm gonna put below the video some of the links so to some of the items I use in the video and also my blog below my blog would also be Bella where they have more information about compost bin and what do you mean and there are things that you can put into the compost into your one bin thanks for watching have a great day
