Please explain how to groom a long haired chihuahua/pekingese part 1

hey guys so today i'm going to show you how to um groom a longer chihuahua pekingese and knight is going to be our helper today okay so first thing i like to do is like have them lay down of course so you can do it got a big poofy tail but i've got just a random normal brush nothing special and what i do first is i go brush his hair up like this first to get all the snarls because they're long haired so you know you gotta get all the snails from their long hair he has long hair to a little pekingese and his name is knight and he's a sweetheart but you just brush them what i do is i brush them upwards first and so and then i just grab his tail very gently so it's all fluffy it doesn't hurt him if i go like this it doesn't hurt him so what i do is i just very gently groom his tail which he doesn't mind at all because he actually likes to be groomed tonight or buggy then i groom his neck very softly because you don't want to choke them when it hits their neck it could choke them so you got to be very gentle very which i use the soft side because i don't want to hurt him or choke him and he knows to roll over for me so he'll roll over when i start to do that and he is a show dog so i do this a lot with him then i give him good boy then i brush then i start brushing with the soft side you know just so you can get all this they could get it all put down now because i like his hair to be down instead all pooped up because it just makes him look more soaked missy are you okay where is that later missy girl is that waiter the eyes waiter and missy is the mommy she's going to come in real quick i wonder what's going on missy come on come on we're doing a video we gotta move okay so now i just go back to brushing with the hard side because i put it all down and then i brush with the hard side just get it all back up again because i like to go over a few times just get everything all done he's got a cough he's some people might think i'm choking him but i'm not choking him i'm just not even holding on very tight as you can see it's not tight onion it's loose and so he's just got a coffee it's uh we'll see you in the next part of the video which is me just doing more stuff with him like the braid in the tail i'll show you how to braid there too see you in a minute okay hey guys so i'm i'm back i just had to go so we're going to show you how to braid his tail so some people might think it hurts him but it doesn't because his tail is literally it ends right here his fluff is this and this is all i break this is all i braid i do not hurt him one bit but i tied him up to the knob on the door so we just the nighter show i got a normal hairbrush because i need to get all the snarls out before i do it and i'm very gentle when i braid his tail because i don't want to hurt him or harm him in one way in many ways i don't want to harm him but i'm just brushing through his hair he's he actually doesn't shed very much some people think that something's long haired he sheds a lot but he actually does not shed barely at all but his brother does his brother's the same one but except i keep his hair all groomed and everything and i groom it a lot he doesn't shed very much so because i get all of it out as you can see in the last part of the video i showed you this which actually helps get all the loose hair out so we're gonna get into the braiding okay so first thing you would do is same thing as braiding a person's hair you just grab a piece of a lock of hair get it all good you know and then grab another lock just like i'm not going to fish toe braid because woman i don't know how to do that with the dog hair but i'm just gonna go on and braid which does not like i said it does not hurt him because this is his tail his toe is actually really small compared to all this fur all this fur is mostly all of his tail practically that's all the tail really is is fur so i just as you can see you guys might not be able to see it but i just braid and i got the small rubber bands because or else they just come off because he likes to run around a lot and i show him in fair so he's actually a showdog and i i got sick he doesn't shed as much because i groom him a lot because he shows a lot and he needs to get all that snots out while he shows and so i groomed him a lot more than his brother so his brother sheds a lot more than him but he's got one of these small rubber bands he doesn't like the rubber bands being put in he doesn't trust it but later i just show him that i'm putting him in he doesn't really care but see as you can see he stares at him he doesn't trust it he's scared it's gonna snap his thing but it's not i'm very gentle with him but as you can see the final touch of his manicure and then we might show you how to put the bun in in his fur which we'll do that right now we'll see you in a second okay so now what i'm gonna need the kitchen well just wait a second i'm almost done with my video but now we're just gonna show you how to keep it out of the way this is the real part he does not trust because it's right next to his tail but i put it in a bun so it stays out of the way and it's not dangling down which again it's not hurting him it's on his fur it's not on his tail part but that's all i do is i put it in a bun kind of like what you do with a horse like when you're doing dressage and everything is you put it in a braid then put it in a bun their mane and so yeah that's grooming with neither bug oh yeah and we can also what i do sometimes is i quickly just brush a little bit more and so we'll see ya peace out
