hey everyone I want to tell you about something that happened to me recently when I was trying to put a deep conditioning protein treatment in my hair I was trying to prepare for the next step because that treatment was only supposed to stay in my hair for a minute I was getting some of my hair oils together and mixing some things up and as I used an oil that i thought was liquidy enough for me to pour out the portion of it that had a little hole for the oil to come out pops off oil goes everywhere all over my tank top and there was nothing I could do about it at that time I had to leave the tank top on because the one minute was up the conditioning treatment i was using was a first-time treatment i had never used this product before so if you have used protein before you know if you leave it on too long or do the wrong thing your hair can turn out to be like straw I didn't want that to happen so I had to leave the tank top as it was and rinse all of this product out of my hair well by the time I get a chance to treat the shirt I'm sure 15 20 30 minutes had gone by because I went ahead and did the rest of my hair took the shirt off changed into something else i'm going to hurry up and did my hair because i have to do that and i looked for the product that i would normally use to treat my shirt whether it's for stain it's hard to get out or whether it's grease i doubt that the product would have worked on the shirt but i was all out of it and so I went searching around the house for something that I could attempt to try to use and I came across a product that i had and i want to show you the process so i'm going to purposely put some grease on a shirt that i only have one of and if you are interested in that process and seeing what product that i'm using and whether that works are not please continue watching hey everyone we're just going to go ahead and get started i'm going to show you the shirt that I am using to show you the treatment that I use when I get grease in my shirt and this is really actually the second time that I'm going to do this treatment and in the introduction I have told you why I am doing this this for me was amazing but what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you the shirt because i want you to see exactly what the shirt looks like so that you will know when i'm done with this treatment that this is the same exact shirt when the grease comes out and i'm saying when because i know that the grease stain that i'm going to put in the shirt is coming out okay so what I'm going to do is I'm putting a plate on it under it because when you have grease that splatters on your shirt it's normally from the front it's not going to soak through you and go to the back of your shirt so I'm trying to do this as realistically as possible with the exception of the fact that I am purposely putting grease on the shirt but it is for demonstration only alright so what I'm going to use for you today is some lard yes we are old school here and we do cook with lard I'm just going to grab one of my wooden spoons and I'm just going to put some grease on a shirt why not just splash it in there and make it look like you know when grease splatters on you it kind of splatters in various spots so I'm just going to do that and with the situation that happened to me I was unable to treat the shirt at the time that I really wanted to was which is like right after it happened I had to wait I was putting a conditioning treatment of brand-new conditioning treatment on my hair and I had never used that product before and it said that to rinse it out after one minute so that was like the shortest deep conditioning treatment i had ever done it was a protein treatment and I didn't want to risk my hair turning out like straw so I've rinsed my hair out before the shirt because I mean you can always replace a shirt that's how I looked at even though the shirt that I had on was like a brand new shirt that was a tank top it anyway despite that fact here we are today I'm going to let this sit in here for a little while just to be realistic once again before i show you exactly what i used to treat the shirt all right everybody 15 minutes that I set the timer for I was trying to think back I know it was longer than 10 but I set the timer for 15 minutes and let the grease and oil lard whatever soaked in to the shirts and let me turn that off and now we're going to start with the treatment and it's only one high household item that did the trick that not all the grease out of my shirt and I wish I had just done a video on that but you know how you don't know if something's going to work and you just do it I like I told you before I had ran out of the treatment that I had that is meant to take out stains and grease and all that and I doubt seriously that it would have worked on that especially for the length of time that the grease has set in there so this is the item and I seriously don't know why I have not tried this before look at the little duckling we know how when there are oil spills and they save the Ducks with this product why have we not or have I not maybe some of you have but why have I not even thought to use this when I gotta grease thing it usually the grease stains that get in my shirts are random the other times I don't even know until after I've washed the shirt that you know I had a oil or grease stain in it so when you know that you haven't Hoyles that i'm going to try on some shirts that actually have stains in them that are look like grease stains and try this just to see if this will take it out even though it's set in and been through many washes and all of that but anyway let's go ahead and get to it because I can ramble on about one thing y'all know that so here we go I'm going to treat all of the areas with this and I am pressing it in to each area making sure that it gets in there and that it gets all the way to the plate itself and blends in with the other grease that has saturated through the shirt trying to find every single splatter mark on here I think this part is just soap I'm just going to make sure anyway because I do want to make sure that all of this comes out so you often see what I saw when I treated the tank top that I wore ok I think I have gotten all of them hoping that I have now places where their soap is starting to look like the the stains but I think I've gotten them all now what I'm going to do now that I've gotten the dawn and this and please remember use the regular Don don't use the dawn hand renewal or the other sense that the dawn comes in use the dawn original ok the dawn original scent some of them have dawn helps save wildlife on it like this one does Don ultra is what this says on it use this one ok look for dawn ultra original scent dishwashing liquid ok I think most times now they do have the duck on there to remind you that this is what this particular formula does well that's what they use it for so just FYI alright so we're going to let this sit I'm going to let it sit for the same amount of time that I believe that I left it I didn't I set the timer for my original shirt I let it sit the dawn set in the shirt like all day so that's what I'm going to do I'm going to stop the video I'm going to let it sit and then I'm going to wait until like let's see it is 850 um in the morning right now and I guess I could say I'm going to move this i'm going to show you guys the time so you can see right 850 am I'm going to bring us back at around 350 all right this afternoon and I think that should be a good amount of time for the dawn to set into the grease things that are on the shirt and then we'll come back to it i'll leave it on the plate so you'll know i did not move it i might move it to a different area so it's out of the way of my kids and all that stuff and nothing else gets on it and then you know that ruins the whole thing the whole purpose of this but i will come back to it and show you the shirt before i put it in the washing machine and then we'll wait again until the whole washing drying process and then i will show you the shirt the final product but anyway i will see you on the next portion of the video okay as you all can see is now 350 head to maneuver some things around cuz we have dinner going but there's the shirt and what i'm going to do is go ahead and take it to be washed i am not going to remove any of the dawn out of the shirt i'm just going to toss it in the washing machine add some detergent to it and let it wash and then i will go ahead after that and dry it and then i will show you the shirt after i'm done all right stay tuned okay everybody so this is the moment that we are all waiting for and this is the shirt that I put the lard on and treated with Dawn ultimate I don't have it with me but the regular blue dawn that they use for the ducks ducks that have been stuck in the oil spills and let's see what happened so one product one big huge grease day there you have it same shirt I only have one of these this was clear instead jcpenney so this is it and as you can see this is still wet so i need to go dry it some more but the stain was right right in the middle of the front of the shirt so no grease stain it is all god I am so excited because just a little bit of some affordable dishwashing liquid that they have discovered many years ago we'll take the oil thick chemical oil which is impossible to get out of clothes I just use what I have around the house some grease some lard that we use every day besides butter olive oil and things like that but large seems to be the heavier of all the other oils that I have in the house so I just wanted you to see what I saw it wasn't lard that got on my clothes it was a hair product that got on my clothes and just soiled the tank top and I did not have anything else so I went searching for something saw the dawn and I was like why not why not and let's see if it works and if it works I'm telling everybody so I'm telling you telling my family it works that's all you need one product for any hopefully inning grease stain that you could come into contact with whether it's hair products whether it's butter olive oil anything peanut oil splashing onto your clothes while you're cooking frying up turkey for Thanksgiving anything use dawn on it and let me know what your results are I soaked it for three hours I think with the dawn I saturated the stain with the dawn and it is totally totally gone one hundred percent gone dawn you're amazing that's all I
