Please explain how to make a herbal arnica cream

hi so welcome today we're actually going to learn how to make up an arnica cream um using a herbal tincture this is arnica tincture and putting it into a base cream this one here is a a non-petrochemical base made by um ann george here here in port macquarie it's a very simple process it's just a few little tricks so the first thing you do is measure out i'm using this size bottle so you want to measure just probably a little bit more than you would actually put into the bottle probably two or three scoops will be enough so that's roughly about 80 grams of the actual base base cream now depending on how strong you want to make this is how much you actually want to add now it comes down to the base cream that you're using some will actually absorb a lot more of the tincture than others so i start by just measuring out probably 20 mls and just slowly adding it to the to the base cream it's really important you add it in slowly because it does become really really um lumpy if you add it in too quickly now 20 mils to about 80 grams usually what i aim for most the arnica cream you actually buy in the shop is a lot less than that you're lucky if you get a 2 ratio but like i said depending on the base cream you actually use it will absorb less less than 20 less than 20 ml of arnica so you can see the more the more liquid you add the runnier the cream actually gets so you don't want it to you don't want it too runny and that's about a really good consistency now from there you add it in now sometimes you can actually pour it in but you usually make a mess nope not gonna make a mess all right so it's just really important you don't touch it with your hands but you can see with the cream you can see how it changed slightly change color of of the white when you rub it in actually the herbs actually just absorb straight into the skin then you just label that and there's your arnica cream
