Please explain how to make bone hair barrettes. boxyqueens

I'm Tammy Walker and I'm going to show you how to make bone hair clips what you'll need is some white oven-baked clay also known as fimo or sculpt T you'll need some hair barrettes and I find that these have been the best that open and close mine are two and a quarter inches long and a dowel to help smooth out your fingerprints and help actually make your design and here's what one of the hair clips looks like take a pinky size of white fimo and roll it up and you want to kind of make the middle little thinner but you still want to keep it around the same length as your bread and just put it on there see this is pretty easy but it's really cute and fun and people love these and pebbles from the Flintstones inspired me because I'm a redhead and I like to do fun things like that and then just take your tool and you and you know it just takes a few minutes to get on there and one of bakes it should be on pretty good because as you start to roll you're gonna it's start gonna as you start to roll it's gonna seal these edges and it's gonna slowly take so I always start with pushing this out to give a little knuckle that way always know where my ends are and then just kind of shape a little bit to you to what you'd like and just start rolling in and pretty soon you'll see the bone it's come to life and don't worry if you do get fingerprints on it after you bake it you can just easily sand it off and I like when I get a little bit of it I got a little bit of a black paper in here and it actually kind of looks neat and it looks more realistic but not everybody likes realistic I guess they just like more of the fun style and then set it down and make you rest thanks for watching how to make bone hair clips check out box - quince calm and you see all the art I do
