hi I heard that some people have never had to clean the bathroom and we're talking to other people I thought well maybe it might be a good idea to make a video so take this with fun we're gonna have a little bit of time and I'm going to show you how to clean a bathroom not quite the way my grandma would have done it but as good as I can do it I'm sure there are better ways to do it but you really want the bathroom to be clean and so to start with the mopping first you have to sweep the floor it's been my experience that it's best to use the broom to go around and just brush off the base forth before you even start mopping because if you wait until you're mopping and you see dust on the baseboards then it just kind of gets sticky and gunky over time so do it the room first when you sweep up and then after you've swept then go through and mop if you see something you can get it then okay it's not going to sweep the toilet brush off the floor so that I have your sponge I do actually have floor mats that go in this bathroom but if I'm going to pick them up as well now my bath mats I do wash them on I don't wash them every week I watch them probably about once a month of us I've noticed that we're getting hungry look I did wash once mild once a week and look at the gussets accumulated in here it's really not that dirty of the house but it does accumulate makes a difference I'm going like once a month wash the bath mats in cold water in the washing machine and because they're all being so cheaply or maybe because I'm cheap I don't know they don't hold up along the dryer so it's better just to wash them and the washing machine and their amount of that quartz or something to dry if you notice that they need want and you can try using a vacuum cleaner maybe vacuum the other carpeted areas of your house or you could just wash them more often I would like the cheaper bath mats then because you probably have to replace them more often so I've already bought that here so I'm just going sweet this up hold on for just a moment come back okay so I'm in the laundry room now and of course the Watchers wings that's our laundry how much do you put in a bucket okay you can read the directions and it says especially if you read Spanish it says something and there's probably two ounces for a gallon me I just think just barely covers the bottom of your bucket it's just enough to cover the bottom and it's enough just enough couple ounces this trip is the use the hottest water that you can stand on your hands no red floor cleaner the builders making me use this about the contractor firm personally I like pine-sol or bleach and water I feel like that really cleans the Builder says no I can't or cleaner that supposed to be no rent seems to be okay it's picking up the ground already just doesn't like the great smells the clean fresh smell I think I walk into a classroom or house sorry that's the teacher so this is pretty hot tap that little at one point water I give you the new sponge so you can see just in one week yeah always they can have help you clean it up so I felt the water like it up about 3/4 away look at how you can see the bottom can you catch it on the tape but you can see the bottom it's nice and clear so that's what we're going to start with okay I'm hoping that Tiger can keep my ball out of the picture then I'm gonna start at the far back corner I'm gonna work myself out so that doesn't come around the room I will be exiting and not stepping on the nice wet floor when you're walking back here it's important that you get the corners and don't do them last because then you just shut the dirt back into the corner and while you're down you might as well use the opportunity to watch the bottom of the toilet check for any huh mishaps as well I think this is a good sized sponge because have to fit perfectly between the wall and the toilet and about the size of my palm if you like the different size bunch that's fine I have the scrubbing part so if something is sticking out of the floor I can't get it up I can use that need be careful not to get something to erase if you don't want to scratch your floor just something that will pull it up I'm going to use that minimally because that was scratch off the ceiling and it's best if you try it you just go really slow and you try to make sure you're picking up anything along you but you aren't going to have some dust so I mean that's just one swipe on a floor that's only been a week since I mopped it really shouldn't take more than maybe five or five ten minutes if it's really disgusting but to clean a bathroom okay I'm not talking about whole bathroom is this a bigger bathroom but as far as mopping okay so I've done right around the toilet done the ground already taken care of the baseboards I'm gonna scoot myself out I'm gonna do behind the door before I do it turn it because I won't go get back there as time goes on sometimes you actually have to do around the doors as well that's actually pretty clean back there mesons I'm not using cleanser that stuff bleach it I could tell us in my work but my favorite time to clean is actually nobody's home I'm already in there I'm wet and I'm just carefully doing each tile I don't look at it as one tile at a time and then keep your eye on the grout you see any discoloration you kind of pick up on things like that the discoloration and the changes in texture and then you know if and this it this is a new house even though I bought this house up several times I'm still committed class little tiny flecks of paint because apparently the painters can't quite get everything on the wall I said is this this is actually a new house it's not too dirty but the more they keep mopping that's easy it's gonna be over time I don't clean the shower at this point I couldn't wipe along there but I'd rather do that when I clean the shower now because I'm older sometimes a pile hurts my knees cheers a bit afterwards make sure we track there sorry about the Baba the dead play that's back there needs to be tossed I've been clean I cannot keep plants alive on this one along the edges and like I said just take it one square the time there's really a sense of pride that comes with time it's such a clean floor and then once you start having babies and things like that it's ready set babies he's just getting more sensitive affect they don't them falling on nastiness as I said earlier boys you have a house the dirty floor gets the girls have their daughter too because they along here and they're hot smelling here it's not taking me very long at all again I think part of that has to do with just you know maintaining and keeping it I'm just going every single little block see a little bit of paint here and there now the scrubber if there's paint on the ground scraper is not the best if we really careful cuz otherwise they describe just falls apart on the ground use something a little bit right like like a little almost bachelor something you would use for dishes to clean the dishes or not gonna be able that to me you see how much dirtier my water is already gotten you can no longer see the bottom there's still some slides which is good if you run out subs if you need to change it water again if you're kind of sloppy and you just do things like this then when you're walking into the room and actually see the sheen from the light and all the places that you miss so might as well just do it right the first time right or wonder more thorough I would say you know not quite that picking out go into this closet here and do that every week probably should but I got I'd say once every three or four months you can go into the bottom of the closet you've got the time or you really get excited about things it's always a good idea to do the extra no I don't know use a slipper or something like that someone asked me well Swiffer doesn't fit around the toilet so if we're going it goes right across the top that's not able to scrub and unless you're damned you don't actually see the dirt and the grime that's on it the floor so I just a kind of more old-school about that and I think that um this is mops are just disgusting because it's just pushing around dirt from one room to another and the amount of time it takes you to clean them up it's worthless so I'm done this is me mopping and it's no rinse cleaner so I think the floor is going to look great I miss the smell but other than that I'm happy with it I'll let it dry I'll take care of the rugs and how we wanted
