hi I'm sue in West Jordan today we're going to be taking out some mildew stains out a shirt the first thing I do is I take it outside on a nice sunny day and I'd brush the mildew spores so that they fall outside and not in your home and then I'd probably let the article dry outside in the warm Sun when that happens I would bring it inside and pretreat it maybe with a good old-fashioned just pretreat or spray it wash it launder it and hang it up make sure the water is really hot if the fabric will take the the warm water but be careful because a lot of things will shrink but things like your towels and things you can put in hot water you can even take an article of clothing and you can put it in boiling water I recommend doing it with the towels boiling it for a while and then taking it go ahead and putting it in your wash machine and go ahead and wash it as normal
