Please explain how to remove scratches in the plastic windshields without using pledge with future shine

I've been asked by several of my subscribers to address the fact that the pledge with future shine is not available in many countries outside the US it also is a general rule not all that easy sometimes to find it in the US pledge was great because you get so much for so little money however it's by no means the only thing that will work the can of testers clear coat lacquer here will work just as well to show this I've prepared two pieces of plastic to test it on the one I'm holding now has one side scratched up in fog with still wool while the other remains untouched you can see how clear and foggy they are by trying to read the text on the can behind them the second piece of plastic is from an old matchbox fan and is extremely fogged so what I plan to do is apply a coat of clear gloss over the fog areas on each piece so here's the first piece right after I sprayed it the blue tapes to keep the other side from getting any clear coat on it you do need to wet the surface with the clear coat otherwise it will appear bubbly so let this one dry and clear fill the part of the other piece of plastic okay it's been about an hour later and they're dry let's test them out and see what we can see so why does this work well test which is made to work on plastic the issue with most other products out there is that they have chemicals that react with plastic more specifically most use acetone and acetone and plastic do not get along so if you can't find future or testers in your country then you need to find a clear coat that does not list acetone as an ingredient anyway hope you've enjoyed this very short video to look on your customs and thanks for watching you
