Please explain how to bake healthy macadamia chocolate chip cookies - paleo and gluten free!

Kira bug here thanks for clicking this video today I want to show you how to bake a super simple cost-effective paleo macadamia chocolate chip cookies I know that was a mouthful if you've never baked anything paleo or gluten-free before this is the perfect video for you to be watching I chose this recipe specifically because it uses the fewest amount of ingredients as possible while also using the least amount of kitchen appliances as possible so if you're new to baking period and you don't have a food processor or a stand mixer or blender you're gonna be fine so stay tuned keep watching and let's get started so all you're gonna need is a baking sheet and parchment paper make sure when you get your parchment paper it's not just wax paper you really want it to say parchment paper because this won't burn in the oven so cut it out to the sides of your baking sheet and then the next thing you'll need is macadamia nut butter I made this myself and I'll show you in a different video how to make macadamia nut butter otherwise you can buy it at the store in a jar or you can substitute it for hazelnut butter or cashew butter as you please the next thing you'll need is some raw honey 1/4 cup and in order to soften the honey I've put it in some boiling water for the time being before I can use it then you'll need some coconut oil I use nature's way and it's unrefined or actually yeah pure and unrefined and then you'll need some coconut flour I just buy Bob's Red Mill you'll need some vanilla I use vanilla maps from bulletproof calm burn actually upgraded soft calm this is just pure Madagascar vanilla bean but you can use vanilla as well and then you'll need one egg I use pasture-raised eggs and you will need some sea salt I use Himalayan pink sea salt last thing you'll need is enjoylife mini chips or whichever size you want these are allergen free which is why I chose those and of course you will need a mixing bowl and a wooden spoon or spatula or you can use a fork or your hands for all I care that it all works so you'll measure out one cup of macadamia nut butter throw it in the bowl then you take 1/4 cup of coconut oil take your 1/4 cup of coconut oil and spoon it in and then you take your 1/4 cup of honey and it's not it doesn't have to be precise here because it's just however sweet you want it and this is raw honey that I've melted down with boiling water for your vanilla you're gonna want 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or what I like to do when I use vanilla bean instead of vanilla extract and this is optional is I just take less than whatever is called for and throw it in there it doesn't have to be perfect it's all going to be flavorful then you're gonna take one large egg throw it in there it's preferable that you whisk this egg before you throw it in there but I like to just throw it in there because sometimes I like to be a little bit lazy then you're going to take a tablespoon and measure 2 tablespoons of coconut flour you want to be pretty precise when you're measuring coconut flour because even a little bit extra are a little too or too little is gonna make a big difference stir that I like I told you to get a wooden spoon or spatula and I've been using a spoon this whole time so preferably a wooden spoon or spatula or whatever you have really like I said your hands work fine as well then you're gonna get your sea salt and just put a little bit in there maybe a little bit more than that oh that much that's good no particular measurement just a pinch and last but not least your enjoy life chocolate chips this also does not have to be measured perfectly just throw it in there I mean can you really have too many chocolate chocolate chips I don't think so and there's your dough and all you have to do is take a spoon or your hands Oh an ice cream scoop if you want and put it on the sheet so I'm taking an ice cream scoop and I'm just putting it on the sheet so I wanted to mention a mistake I made when baking these cookies I accidentally put in 1/2 a cup of macadamia nut butter when you really need a full cup for this recipe so whatever results from this baking project is going to be different than the outcome you're going to get when you use a full cup of macadamia nut butter if you wanted to use a full or a half a cup and that's all you had like I did just half the recipe but that's gonna be a little bit difficult so try to get a full cup um the process is gonna be the same for that I showed you so I hope this video is still helpful for you um just know that accidentally added a half a cup so when you see the cookies it's not gonna be what yours looks like you'll want to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees on bake so do that before you start so that when you're done with your cookies your oven will be ready so throw your cookies in on the middle rack at 350 of course and set your timer to about 13 minutes and then check on them to see if they're done if they don't look ready if they still look gooey just keep them in there for another minute or two and then check on them again so this is how my cookies turn out this is not gonna be how your cookies turn out if you follow the actual recipe like I didn't but it's the same process so you should be good burnt no me thanks for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it if this video was helpful to you give it a thumbs up and comment in the
