hey guys this is sarah today i'm going to show you how to make the lara croft tomb raider 2013 lighter um this is this particular piece is very easy to make i really like it it's a nice touch to the entire game um it's the it's the one that she gets from the pilot from the um chopper just not to give too much away i started with spray painting it with silver gold and black spray paint to just give it a dirty and tarnished look afterwards i grabbed the brush and i started just making strokes with it i wanted to make it look like old metal and the best way i knew how was just to um spray spray it and then like just you know go over it with the brush over and over and over again to create that texture and that shine or nonshine in this case so as you can see here the color is kind of like a silverish gold color um just like the game version and uh next step would be the words uh it says fly them high do or die so what i had done was i purchased the stamp and that's exactly what it says with the rubber stamp um and i coated it with acrylic paints and then i um just press it right on top of the side where it's supposed to go and that was it this is a huge secret of my craft so that's how much i love my community i will i will give up my biggest secrets so the next part would be the propeller pin that is on top of that on top of the lid of the lighter so all i did was just grab a piece of fimo clay and carved it out of it with my exacto blade so i baked it in the oven for half an hour at 2 30 um fahrenheit um some other fimo varies like some of it is 275 at 15 minutes but so don't go by what i said um just um just read your labels next was to spray paint it gold um so i just yeah i just did just that so when they uh when the propeller pin was dry i grabbed some crazy glue and i had um as you can see here in a few seconds i will um basically just crazy glue that propeller pin right on top of it and it will be an instant and permanent bond so now comes the last step which is just to spray some um acrylic some mod podge acrylic sealer on top of the whole item because um you want to protect the lettering uh that we did with the rubber stamp um and uh that's pretty much it you're done the lighter really looks awesome this is just a prototype but um the picture in the end is one i made for a client they are available in the store for twenty dollars um here's the picture it was absolutely gorgeous in person as well so thanks for watching guys and i'll see you next time you
