so and you can measure both sides I don't because I can kind of I kind of tell like if it's a two inch I'm just going to iron mostly the bottom so you don't get like this like a shadow on the other side so looks like that so you can pin it just so when I do my cross stitch I'm going to start on this side only picking up one there just a small little pick I'm gonna pull it through so there's a little bit left out and then I'm going to go over it again and then I'm going to knot it so that it creates like an anchor and then I'm gonna do is I'm going to take a pick from this side just a tiny just a few like threads it's like that pull it through like that and I'm gonna go back down just like the bottom of the search edge pull that through see it makes a nice little cross and then I'm going to take another pic here and go down only pick only when you do down here you're only picking up that layer so you're not picking anything from the front and I use this him well this stitch for like almost anything like if I'm not putting a lining in a jacket or something I will cross stitch all the facings down just to keep it nice and tight and nothing is pulling up so I'm just gonna take another pick and so and so I've done about like almost for just a few more and then I'm going to knot it just so that if it's ever to be taken out and altered like right here so it is ever to be taken out and altered if you cut it it's gonna unravel the whole thing which can be good but it can also be bad so if you're only fixing a little spot it's better to just make a little anchor in the middle and then just continue on with your cross stitch Mike the red is okay a little bit tangled but so I just like to kind of gather it up when I'm doing it but the cross-stitch will look like when you're done from the wrong side it might be slightly hard to see but it is a zigzag and then from the right side you would use the same color thread but so you can see my red picks but if you're using a white fabric could use white thread so these are my picks and yeah so you could just iron that nicely again you're done
