hello welcome to our video my name is Mark and today I'm going to show you a simple electrical task that can help save you money on your energy cost it can cut down inconvenience of having to replace light bulbs and not only that it significantly reduces the fire risk in your property now the tasks that I'm about to show you is how to replace your halogen bulbs or an LED bulb now this LED bulb lasts approximately 35,000 hours which is around 10 to 15 times longer than the halogen bulb this LED bulb is just a 4 watt which is equivalent to a 50 watt meaning that 10 of these is equivalent to just one of these and this would reduce your energy cost if you replace your lighting to LED now to do so you first need to ensure that the circuit is turned off the next thing to do is to locate the Bob the bulb or the light fitting that you're replacing and then simply twist and remove the old bulb now the old existing lamp will twist out of the chrome cover in this case and the new light fitting simply slots in the same same space they'd only to locate the bulb holder and the knuckles on the top of the light fitting put it in and you twist it we then reinsert the cover turn the light fitting and twist and that's it it's as simple as that now if you can do this to your life fittings you can save a function on your energy costs but please remember if you don't feel confident we carrying out this electrical task please consult your local electrician I'll be happy to help thanks for watching
