how do i use min max on my fluke multimeter or fluke clamp meter a lot of fluke products have an extra feature called the min max key and what this lets you do is actually change your device into a recorder by hitting the min max key what will happen now is it will record the minimum and the maximum and in some cases the average for as long as i've left that function engaged so this is handy if you're looking for very voltage dips or especially for current you're monitoring the current on a motor and you want to see how the current varies so to activate it i just hit the min max and then by repeatedly pressing it i get the maximum and the minimum and on some multimeters it will each even give you a running average to disengage it i simply hold in the button and it goes back into its normal mode so that's like how i can use min max on my fluke multimeter or clamp meter you
