okay my winged whacker just doesn't keep running doesn't keep running it's been running bad and now it won't run or stay running at all and I was as I was trying to get it started today I had the gas cap was on it was full of gas when I pumped when I pumped the siphon it's just just air air air air so then I turned it upside down so the gas would be closer to where the hoses go and I pumped it and it got gas so I'm like okay the the hose on the inside must be cracked or broken or something so then I dreamed the gas out into a container and I looked in there and there's no there's no hose going down to the bottom it's it's sitting down here it's broken so what I found was here it is right here the hose is broken right where it goes through the gas tank so I'm going to be replacing this small line and I happen to buck some line before for another one of these visa weed eaters this is my second one the other ones you know here somewhere probably the same problem but they're inexpensive so I guess they want you to buy another one every time you have a problem so I got some gas line and this is the filter that was inside with the broken hose and this is the piece where it went through the gas tank to the inside of the hole to the inside of the gas tank so I'm going to be replacing this hose so next I mean it will be a lot easier to to get the hose on here if I take the gas tank off so I've got a Torx 25 which is the screw take this thing off screws on the gas tank no okay so if you can see there's a little hole right here where this hose is going to go through New Hope's is going to go through and it doesn't just push in so you take a little work to get that oh that's a lot easier when the tank is off the weed eater look to puff that folk right in see if I can get to keep going oil would help let's assume I'm squeezing and pushing squeezing pushing a little bit at a time doesn't feel like it's going anywhere I don't know if I twist it I'm going to squirt a little wd-40 on the inside I don't want to put too much on here because it'll make the host slippery and I can't work it I don't think I'm getting anywhere right now I can't see because the big host has a fitting in there and it's making it hard for me to see the other side okay that method of pinching and pushing and pinching and pushing it did get some in there I don't know if you can see it but I'm going to use a pair of bent needle nose pliers to grab it and pull it through so that's my next step is to because of that other ones in the way there you see so I'll have to get around it with the event needle nose pliers okay let's see if these little pliers can get in behind that you can't see what I'm doing I tried this one there you go I can see a halo in there you can see an image leaving there we go I got a little grab there we go you can see it in there helping them up real wide going in around it and grabbing it and you can see through the plastic where the pliers are and just I just pulled it out that far let's go down around you can see them in the light hold it down I'm going to pull it out see how much I got I can get a hold of it and I'll do it like this well it looks like I need to keep going so getting a halo look down pull it down put a little more a little wd-40 on here just to make it slide a little I can use the straightedge pliers now because I don't need to reach up in there you go there you go I'm going to need more I don't want to pull it sideways so I'm going to keep using the pliers you know there's lots of hoes here I need to get it long enough to where it'll go to the bottom how to do it and I'm going to put the gas line filter back on there we go that back in what do you think there's the gas line this one if it ain't broke don't fix it and I'm out there you know I'm gonna leave it I know how to change it so when I have extra line I can do it another day but same process with this and it doesn't go anywhere it's just it's just a backflow any excess gas goes back into the tank so there you have it I'm going to put it back on and hook it up and see if I can't get it running okay I'm going to reinstall the gas tank these two screws here again at t25 or Torx head size 25 screwdriver if you don't know what a Torx head is it's like a six-star kind of head I'm going to cut the Xhosa link and I reinstalled the bigger hose for the smaller hose first so it's not in a way I'm just pushing it on there picture those I'm going to twist it a little because it's okay so now the two hoses have been installed on the carburetor I'm going to refill the gas tank in my case the gas was clean no water in it I just put it in a mixing as you can see it's good-sized gas cap on and here's the test the primer bubble I'm going to pump it it feels good got to remember all the hoses are empty you can see that maybe I don't know I just saw gas come down through here so the carburetors Prime when I start my weed eater I usually go full full choke goes all the way down and full throttle then I pull it I keep it that way and now I go like half choke and no gas there you have it that's how you change the gas line on a weed eater let's see what it is it's a weed eater Featherlite plus FL 26 16-inch cut 25 inch 25 16 inch cut 25 cc engine and if you need customer assistance it has a number on here 800 by 5 4 6 7 2 3 that's 800 5 5 4 6 7 2 3 that's what it says on here so now I can go do my yard work that I have been able to do for a few weeks because I I just didn't want to mess with this thing but today I did so
