Please explain how to professionally spray a garage door and the best way to mask the weather stripping (cc on)

How to Paint a Garage Door and Keep the Weather Stripping Clean and Away from the Door Using Sherwin Williams Duration Satin This method lets the entire door get painted, keeps the weather stripping clean and doesn't touch or dry against the fresh paint. Before painting I hand washed the door with phosphate free detergent, dried the door, and super lightly scuffed it with a worn sanding sponge. I then wiped it clean of surface dust, disassembled the window grids to paint separately and on all sides. I masked glass and then the weather stripping from the inside while the doors were open as follows: Spray some 3M Spray adhesive super lightly on the inside only of weather stripping on 3 sides of the opening. Using a hand masker loaded with 1.5" blonde tape and 9" green masking paper, tape to the back side the weather strip in one long continuous piece for each side of the opening. Secure the paper with tension applied to hold it forward. Wrap tape around the trim for strength. With the weather stripping held forward, the entire door can be sprayed two coats, and left to dry before releasing the masking. I'm using a 410 (RAC X) fine finish tip by Graco, because I wanted two light, even coats of paint to go on, and I wanted a nice smooth finish and it was windy out also, so it worked out really well After double coating, let the paint dry for several hours or overnight before unmasking the weather stripping. And that is a professional way to paint a garage door. Thanks for Watching! Hire your local PROFESSIONAL tradesman, and support your local PAINT store.
