hi everybody its Joanna Marcus from Joanna Vargas skincare in New York today I wanted to teach you guys how to make your own rejuvenating hydrating toner that you can keep on your desk and refresh your skin throughout your work day I was inspired to do this by my really good friend Alicia unit of peach and Lily because when I met her she told me that all the girls have peach and lily throughout the day hydrate their skin and I thought it was so cute the idea and it's true like clients that come to the salon I do advise them to have a spray bottle of rose water or a spray bottle of chamomile water to help kind of fortify the skin refresh the skin rosewater is great to take on an airplane but today I thought since it's so dry out you know it's snowing out that would be really good to have to kind of boost your blow factor and also hydrate you that's what we're gonna make so I took the liberty of preparing overnight one cup of green tea I allowed the teabag to steep overnight I did boil water first so that you get all you know the benefits of the green tea into the water and as you can see it's a pretty dark shade I like using as much of the nutrients from the leaves as possible so that's why we did it overnight now I'm going to add just two drops of lavender oil lavender oil is really amazing because it's very soothing for the skin and aromatherapy wise it just smells incredibly relaxing and refreshing so I would recommend using two drops of some type of hydrating oil you can use Coco bottle or avocado oil even almond oil but I'm going to use my rejuvenating serum in this formula just because it is super hydrating it does contain Hova olive oil rose hips neroli and argan oil so it's really healthy for the skin it protects one's elasticity it's very anti-aging and it's also just really circulation green tea is great because it is an antioxidant so it will protect your skin against cell mutation throughout the day but it's also really great for your circulation it strengthens capillary wall so reduce redness and also give you just a nice glow to your skin so I went ahead and bought spray bottles just for Ricky's Ricky's is a cosmetic supply store here in New York if you're not in New York you know most places like Target sells like travel-size containers but I like these because they're little sprays that you can literally use at your desk so now I'm going to put my toner formula into my spray bottle so I hope you enjoy your toner like I said just Sprint's it all over your face whenever you feel like you need a boost or your skin just feels super dry I have my makeup on already but applying that on top just makes my skin really feel dewy and hydrated and I hope you enjoy
