hey guys this evany and i'm back to give you some relief from your EG scalp you know it's winter time and air is dry is cold you got the heat on in your house and they're just sleek everywhere but i have something to show you that will hopefully give you some relief from your dry itchy misery let's get started now if you're familiar with my channel then you already know that I love to do DIY mixes for my hair and this particular situation is no different I decided I would make my own exfoliation mixture for my scalp and that's it consisted of basically sugar and olive oil this is actually a body scrub that was given to me as a Christmas gift but I decided to you know add a little bit olive oil to it that I can just go ahead and put it on my scalp now the reason I love to do DIY is because I can make the mixer specific to any issue that I'm having with my hair so if you someone who suffers from severe dry scalp or if you're suffering from hair thinning or just want your hair to grow a little bit quicker overall this is where you can get really creative so for example if you are suffering from dandruff essential oils like tea tree peppermint and chamomile or very good options to treat the dangers but if you want to go ahead and treat hair thinning or just want your hair to grow a little bit faster thicker then castor oil rosemary and lavender are great essential oils to choose from those oils mixed with any granulated sugar like brown or white will help with removing all the dead skin cells now to be honest with you this was not the easiest thing to do I was trying to film obviously the process of going this but normally it's best to do this right over the sink the sugar Falls everywhere and if you don't have enough oil in the mixture then it can seem pretty like crummy I guess but yes you feel like it's just getting everywhere just add a little bit more oil to it so it has a little bit more weight to it and it can stick to your scalp a bit better and also I try to use a toothbrush to do this and that didn't really help either it kind of just tangle with my hair at the root so I just went ahead and use my fingers an important thing to keep in mind when dealing with essential oils is that you never want to put it directly on the scalp the central oils are usually highly concentrated so what you want to do is use a carrier oil which is basically like a base oil to help protect your scalp against any of the harshness of the essential oils due to the concentration and the carrier oil is anything from olive oil avocado oil coconut oil jojoba oil really easy to find so just go ahead and mix your essential oil with the carrier oil you can find different recipes online that will give you some guidelines as far as to the amount but I definitely don't recommend adding essential oil directly to your scalp now as I mentioned before you can use any sugar you like as long as it's granulated you're going to need the granules to help scrub all of the dead skin cells away from your scalp and your hair follicle build up from co-washing and product and just dandruff can really clog your hair follicles and slow down the hair growth process you're going to want to get as much of that gunk and grime away from your hair follicle as possible now once you finished applying to make your your scalp go ahead and gently but firmly rub the pads of your fingers all around yourself don't use your fingernails that can be serious atmosphere scout to choose the bottoms of your fingers to make sure you are getting all the diskens cells away from the hair follicle and getting some good blood circulation going on too because that definitely aids in hair growth now once you finish rubbing the mixture throughout your stop just go ahead and wash your hair like normal the sugar will wash out just fine and just use a little bit of elbow grease when getting it all out from your scalp I hope you all enjoyed this video if so go ahead and give it a big thumbs up share this video subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done so and as always thanks for watching
