hey YouTube future of 1.15 here going to give you a lesson on how to foam your beret and so what we have here is some supplies we've got your standard-issue beret for JROTC for the new ASU or army service uniform with the berets or the required headgear nail nothing else so and it's they issue the black flesh with the gold trim and so grave a red and some of the supplies you'll need is a razor a lighter scissors your head and a beret so this is going to be a three part series then I get it ready and shade it then we're going to get wet and formula and then we'll we'll let it dry alright so what we're going to do now is we're going to show you how to prep your beret or shave it so as you can see here we have your tangley things in the back you had these things where you can adjust the size of it now it comes in sizes this is a 7 and 1/8 but you can tie it to fit your head I've already taught it and a square knot which is simply right over left just like this and left over right just like you're tying your shoe and then what we're going to do is want to cut this thing cut all the excess off snip it just like that what we're going to do now I'm going to grab our ladder going to burn these ends off carefully put that wax settle and it can be snipped a little closer careful that you don't snap the lining just like that next thing you want to do you want to go ahead and cut your tags I usually burn the inside up just like that now if you notice as you turn this thing inside out you see the flashes some through the backing here that's alright but what you want to do you want to take your razor you have this case I've got a Schick hydro you can use any disposable razor any razor the sort i'll pull back this little thing here and usually what i do is we shave it now how do we shave it we go around the whole outside here if you notice we're getting a lot of fuzz off right there already I'll start around the flesh and just kind of work my way around the sides here until I come back on this side then I go on top and shave all this and then you shave the turn it inside out and shave do the same thing so we'll come back and we'll see how that looks once I get this done and remember just start at the flesh turn inside out inside get it really good nice and thin because they'll be able to form better all right you tuber back and as you can see here we've just shaved our bure you can probably tell looking notice a difference shaved it down really good just a little bit of fuzz but it will come off and on the inside two and one is some other supplies I forgot to mention lit roller as you're shaving and you got all that fuzz you can just let roll it down and a basketball there's some kind of ball that'll fit on the your beret will fit on there and explain that as we're getting ready to go down and form it so this is all the fuzz off of it most of the big chunks and all the lint and all that on my clipboard here is crap um so we're going to head down there and start forming it see in a bit hey youtube so the previous video got deleted but we'll go ahead and show you what this looks like what the what it looks like when it's formed I want to show you how to get this way so we're going to do first is I want to get my little beret here I have two one way undo it just like this and we scoot this elevated damn and what you gon do to begin to form it it's all you're going to do is you're going to take this flash here you want to hold it in your right hand just like so and what you're going to do is you want to fold just grab a corner up here at the top or fold it over the corner here at the beret now you want to come over at the sink you're going to get it wet now once you get it wet I'm going to get way get wet get wet wants to go in your head now this is where the ball comes in which one day with the ball is this is what you're going to set your brain on when it's done but first you want to stick it on your head and get it to your regulation thing now keeping that on there you want to conform it to your head with grabbing your left hand like so you're going to pull everything to the side coming over keeping the Brahe on your head so you're going to comb everything over in the back here but holding on to this flash just like so spring it over here closer so I can show you what I mean so let's pretend this is my head I'll grab it with my left hand on here see so I'm gonna grab it here I'm pulling everything over and occasionally pulling this out now what this does is get all the slack out and once you get all the slack out you pull it over to the side let's give you this overlap once you get it good and conformed on your head what you're going to do it's just going to pick it up very carefully and set it on this ball using the ball purposely so I don't show my face but using the ball you want to sit it on just like that letting it draw on the ball now also you can sit it on edge like so hanging off the
