hello world this is random Fitz and today I'm going to be showing you how to replace the key battery on your Mini Cooper and this is pretty easy you don't need a lot of tools to do this you want to go ahead and put in a flat tip screwdriver right at the tip of the key here and there's gonna be our battery right there and now we're gonna go ahead and pry the battery loose there battery loose we want to go ahead and grab a new battery of the same size alright so I went ahead and got a new battery I'm gonna go ahead and pop the battery out I'll have a link to the battery in the description below and one thing I want to be sure when I'm putting this back I want to put this back the same exact way as they had it so I'm gonna go ahead and put that little piece that they had in the back to bring the battery up a little bit and I'm gonna snap this back together you want to make sure you snap this all the way down so that it's flush like that and now to verify that I have power this one doesn't have any lights so be near the car and I can hear the car opening up right there and this locks it so hopefully that helps you guys out thanks for watching give the video a thumbs up and have a great day let me know you guys have any comments hit the subscribe button and I really appreciate your continued support
