hello I'm going to show you today is the best way to change a piece of skirting board behind a radiator I feel like at this skirting board here you can see it's a bit got a few holes in it's a bit button it's also been put in originally in two pieces one behind each pipe because it's impossible unless you check the radiator off to fit that as one long length adjoining it so we're going to show you today how we're going to take the radiator off and the take the radiator off without drain any water take up that piece of skirting board and put a nice nice new piece assaulter one continuous piece behind there and toggle it up so that's what I'm gonna show you today okay we're now ready to remove the radiator now you can see I've already disconnected at the end using the rough clumps was going to tear the radiator off the wall with the water inside as I said so when barely listen now my first thing to do is put some clothes on the floor now just to catch any drips second thing is to get all the Rutland single rod clamp and secure in the bottom and corner right over next thing is to get the guide rod and slip it in the whole series of what I just leave it there now I need to do them do the union or between the valve and the radiator so the name of the rod wrench and the red spanner for that because you need to hold this valve base very stead because sometimes these nuts going to be extremely tight so cut the valve of the rod wrench can undo the evening of between now get out of the rut clamp seal which is this it's very thin as you can see in the end this is now going to slot in between when Apollo evolved away it's going to slide in between and stretch over the tailpiece and seal the water inside now this takes like one second so I'll pull them all the way now quickly the sit slotted in water sealed and it's all in place so just slide the guide rod book to me to the fork you have to turn to engage and then push the whole thing that way to the right you've got pinch screw here just try not a whole lot in place so now the radio is disconnected both ends with the water still inside and when I lift this off now I'm placed on these two blocks just for now but one word of warning is these radios can be very heavy especially the water inside so if you think it's going to be too heavy and please get help so lift it off now that's it so what we do now is going to remove the radiator over to the side of the room all the way so we can begin work on the changing the skirting board so as you can see now the radiator has been taken out the way we've removed the two old pieces of skirting board are prepared and cotton prepared this new piece to go and should now one continual length and I'll show you how easy is now to slot this behind the radiator pipes without putting it into class simply slot it over there and all this one finally not to drop it in so now it's a nice long run looks a lot neater so I'm going to do a nice fix up to the wall and then we're ready to put the radiator back on the wall okay we've got the skirting board fitted now put the radiator back on the wall I've reconnected that side also left is to reconnect this side which I'm quickly going to do so you go with your uh drenching you nut spanner again you're slacking off the pinch Cree there slide off the seal off the end of the well fly all the way and quickly cook them well back onto the tail piece all right now pull that out the way tighten up the Union finger tight cuz you're up spanner the rudder interested finally tie me up and galti bleak in just bleed there might be at a little bit of an idea just release that at the top in the in the bleed valve I'm going to take off your right clamp over the tools and applause knew all that out of the way run up to one side switch on the radio to make sure is no leaks on each end and then have it will continuous piece of scrambled and radius at which we I think you must agree it looks a lot neater
