all right tighten up everybody it's the guys from PV Mac 36 here again with you for another 7 days to die video tutorial today we are talking about planting corn and having a food source near your base or stronghold so as you can see here we have two rows that we've already dug and I'm going to select my iron garden hoe which is an item that you're going to need to actually plant corn because you got to prepare the ground to do so so I've selected it on my tool belt and this is on the plate on the ps4 console so to actually do this you're using the same l2 button that you use to build and construct with your stone ax which you can see in the other videos that we've done on the savage 7 days to die playlist now two different types of corn here we've got the ear of corn of course we've got 22 of those and the corn seed so we've got four corn seed already constructed and I'm going to show you how to how to plant them so now you're going to use the are to to plant or deploy the corn once you have the you'll see the building a box that pops up green ghost box there you're going to use the r22 plant now we planted those four and now we're going to craft some more corn seed here so we're taking it from the belt up to the backpack using X to do so you can also tap the our three we're going to hit triangle and it's going to bring up the different things that you can do with the ears of corn you can see eat recipes and drop we tap the d-pad over to the right and that's the recipe there's two different ways to do this I'm going to show you both we highlight corn seed and then we tap 2x4 how many different how many corn seed we want okay we did 12 there and we're going to tap the d-pad button up to craft them now what this will do is instead of just hitting craft craft craft you can select the number and you can go about doing different things other things that you need to do and it's going to save time for you guys that know how know this game you know that time is very very important so now we're actually planting these as they are crafting and they are showing up you can see in the tool belt so now we're going through the rows and we're going to plant them you can see other tutorials on our savage 7 day to die playlist that is out on PB Mac 36 so you can go on there and if you like the videos of course we always want you guys to smash that subscribe button so here again we're going through and we're planting these and we're trying to do is survive in this game and to do that one of the things that you need is food and corn obviously is food so we're putting this close to our base or stronghold which is just behind me and to the left now I want to show you the another way that you can do this if you want to craft the maximum number that you can based on the items you have you highlight this button and tap it one time and it will craft the rest of the years of corn that we have into corn seed we're going to deploy that to our from our backpack into our belt now look I've used the one of them that was already there so you can't just keep doing it otherwise you'll have to put it in there as they craft you can use them but if you use the last one then you have to go back to your backpack which also cost you some time so you can see I made a mistake there actually did that on purpose so that you guys can see how that works okay now I've got more seed than I've got ground prepared here so what I'm going to do is I'm going back to prepare some more ground so I can put another row here don't use your tools to do this clear all of this foliage all this all these plant fibers clear those out with your hands so that you don't use up your tools okay after I do that I'm going back to the iron garden hoe which you can see here and I'm going to go through and prepare another row for the corn seed that I have left corn is not the best source of food it only one ear of corn as you eat it will move you up 1% in your food but you can use it to as a food source and it is replenishable because you can plant okay so it's important to do that and have it close to you where you don't have to travel so far to do it so again we're going here and I'm going to go a little bit faster in the queue planting the corn okay and I want to back up and show you where the cornfield is so guys there it is we've got some corn planted in a garden here utilizing tools and showing you how to craft it from the raw ears of corn we hope that you like this video if you do smash the like button five times and comment and also subscribe thanks guys and have a great day
