hi welcome to this wonderful show Jake Evans outdoor workshop I'm Sean Whitmer AKA slim and i'm going to show you today how to make a luxury canteen now come with me very simple supplies for a luxury canteen mason jar this is where the word luxury comes from you've seen a lot of canteens maybe plastics lots of different kinds of plastics solid glass solid glass all the things you need super glue i call these mountain climber Clippy things one of the hardest things I've ever looked for my life at home depot screw with the head on it screw with an eye I have no idea what these were called and asking the guy there to try to find one of these was phenomenal asking the guy where the loose nuts were cause a lot more fun loose nut now you're wondering how do you make this into a luxury canteen very simple screw with a hole you simply take it with a quick little pound so as to pierce the metal top and then screw down it's not really that hard even that's the beautiful part as you can see you've got a little bit of a hold there then take it off and see it's been pierced you can change the level of that loose nut now I got the wrong size loose nuts because I've never ever done anything crafty before but I'll learn as i get older this is going to eliminate pull out technical terms sorry you then put that back on top as you can see now you've got still the same thing put a hidden inside could you see it through that glass in some now super glue this is where I really shine I didn't want to have liquid in there tip it upside down and some of my daily activities and have liquids go everywhere super glue along the top here a lot of super glue on the top here I bet you fifty bucks that seals it or your money back and then the mountain climber Clippy thing simply attaches and there you have it now I have one ready to go I want to let the glue ceylon out feelin that way this one is already as you can tell flippy thing on top comes off enjoy yourself a nice beverage now you say why do you need it like this why don't you just have a mason jar do you have a mason jar the clip your belt loop I didn't think so maximum flexibility hands out shooting hoops stays right there playing defense stays right there also attaches to side clips this is not a proven fact you but I'm pretty sure if you do lunches like this it acts as a wake mechanism will help velocity durability and jumping this beautiful part about one of my luxury canteens let's say I didn't have any more let's say have some pesky superglue and you were like I'm a man I don't have a purse you get a bigger mason jar now you have first luxury first you buy a lot of luxury items people buy luxury cars tens of thousands of dollars by luxury couches I don't know how much those cost probably money luxury silverware I saw some this weekend for fifty dollars for silverware I'm going to run you through some map here mason jar one dollar 50 50 49 cents one dollar 49 cents this thing screw thing probably like 80 cents loose nut came in a big packed the whole pack was one dollar mountain climber Clippy thing which is also interchangeable I know there's lots of different designs some collegiate one some special ones different types of things on it shoe box and higher this luxury item not going to cost you thousands of dollars or even tens of thousands fish my friends is going to cause of you seven dollars by for me I'll talk to you for 10 there you have a luxury can team that's right on your belt only worn out half for you the one problem I could proceed with this if you do shatter it it's kind of close to the parts that you don't want a cup of class I willing to take that risk for luxury i am and the beautiful part is all of us replaceable because of this part breaks go to the store dollar 49 runs through it and get a whole brand-new glass probably the tint another glass just learning for you Jan Kevin workshop redneck style right here
