in this video I'm gonna show you how to apply a blush so the first thing that I'll do here is I'm going to locate the area where you need to apply the product and you can use your fingers or a brush or a pencil what you're doing here is we are locating the top of the cheekbone which marks the top boundary beyond which you must never apply blush the part where you feel the bone right under the skin is the top of your cheekbone and the part where your brush or your fingers sink in the most is the hollow of your cheekbone and that marks the lower boundary so we mark the horizontal boundaries for the vertical boundary you keep approximately a two-finger distance from the sides of your nose and mouth now using Kohl pencil here this is a nude Kohl pencil I'm just going to draw in the area for the sake of demonstration to give you a better idea of how exactly and where exactly you need to apply the blush so we mark the upper boundary that is the top of the cheekbone and now I'm marking the lower boundary followed by a two finger vertical boundary so you can see we are getting roughly a rectangular shape here now this is a more sculpted approach to applying blush this basically enhances the structure of your face enhances your cheekbones and gives a slightly slimmer effect I'm going to be using Mac flowerpower blush here which is one of my favorite pink blushes and I'm using a real techniques blush brush to apply this as you can see I'm using the flat side of the brush instead of the tip of the brush for application just brushing the color gently on the skin in the area that we have blocked out in the previous step I'm now turning the brush onto the clean side to blend out the color for a more diffused and natural look I'm just trying to erase out the nude Kajal pencil that I used here for demonstration it's a good idea to spend a little time in blending out the edges after you have placed the color on your cheeks because you don't want just a blob of color sitting on your cheeks a very concentrated color in a small area doesn't look natural so make sure you blend out the edges for a smooth even finish and this is how I apply blush I hope you found this video useful thank you so much for watching and I'll see you soon
