hair friends today we're going to be drawing a mummy yeah a cartoon mummy right yeah yeah all right checkers you got your marker yep all right we hope you guys are going to follow along with us uh because this is a cartoon version it's gonna be really easy we try to keep the cartoon version simple and fun and even short too yeah yeah all right you ready to start okay checkers we're gonna start with our mummy's head and we're gonna draw a big oval right in the middle of our paper like this and he's a cartoon version so he's gonna have a really big head and then kind of a small body okay okay nice sweet good job okay now we're gonna draw his smile and he's gonna have a crazy spooky smile so we're gonna draw a line that goes all the way across his whole head then we're gonna come down here and we're gonna draw the bottom of his smile underneath that first line that we drew good job okay now we can put sharp teeth in there so he looks even spookier i don't think he's gonna look very spooky though because he's a cartoon good job okay now let's draw his eyes we're gonna draw two circles right in the middle and we we did this lesson a long time ago didn't we and we thought that it would be a lot of fun to redo it and so maybe some of our art friends have already done this lesson because they've seen our older videos but it's still fun right yeah and we're practicing okay so you got that yeah okay next step we're going to draw the inside of his eye like this so we'll put a circle on both sides at the bottom and we can put little dots on the inside of those good and then we're going to color in the bigger circle okay dude since mummies are wrapped up in toilet paper right we're gonna draw more lines across his head it's not really toilet paper right yeah it is well i think when you dress up as a mommy use toilet paper but real mommies they didn't use toilet paper they used paper they used cloth we learned something new every day don't we yeah okay let's draw that we're going to draw more lines and these are called we could call these contour lines and contour lines help make it look more 3d doesn't it look like his face is round yeah yeah all right okay let's add some more so we're gonna add another one up here like this good and then we can add another one right here so it looks like there's another wrap in there good job okay now let's draw his body so we're going to come down and we're going to add a u-shape for his body like that squeaky markers you don't need to add the noise all right and then let's add some more contour lines so it looks 3d and i'm going to just add a couple what i don't know why okay and then we'll add another add another one i i like kind of crossing them too because then it looks like the wraps are kind of going different different directions cool okay next step we're going to add his hands and we're going to make them look like they're coming out like they're clawing us we're gonna reach out and grab us so we're gonna draw circles really big circle one over on this side okay good job that looks awesome then we're gonna add another one on this side and you want them to be about the same size cool his hands are almost as big as his body yeah so his hands are coming out closer to us so they look like they're reaching out yeah and so they're bigger right okay so now we're gonna add a thumb and they're gonna be hot dog shapes hot dogs i like hot dogs i know you do and then i'm gonna add one on this side and we can do these together at the same time since they're symmetrical right yeah good nice okay now let's add his fingers and we're gonna add three fingers on this side and three fingers on this side we're gonna do the same thing as the hot as his thumb make it look like a hot dog but we're gonna point it the other direction and then i'm gonna add another one right next to that one and then one last one down here good job one last one i like how your fingers are a lot longer than mine good okay now let's do the same thing on this side add his fingers the marker is really squeaky yeah good job good dude okay one more awesome perfect okay that one's really big and then we're gonna we're gonna connect his hands into his arm or into his body by drawing his arms so we're going to draw it an l shape bent line yeah and then we're going to add another one right next to that one there's his arm then we do the same thing on this side good okay now let's add the cloth or the wraps on his hands or toilet paper or toilet paper yeah it could be toilet paper and then so we'll add a couple lines going down that circle and then a couple lines down here if we go too fast what can they do pause the video yes you guys can always pause the video if we're going too fast all right dude let's put some more uh contour lines and more toilet paper yeah on his arms toilet paper rolls sometimes okay okay now let's add contour lines to his fingers so it looks like his fingers are wrapped so on these fingers i'm i'm bending the curved line down so it looks like a u shape like that nice good job then i'm going to add lines on this side too okay good awesome okay now let's do his legs we're going to do a bent line out from his body then we can do another one right next to that one good and then we're going to draw a big oval shape that comes around from that line and then back to this line good job dude okay now let's draw his other leg so we'll do another bent line on this side and then i'm going to put the bent line his the second bent line above that one good now let's draw his foot so we come around from this side and then back around to the other line awesome good okay now we can put some contour lines on this foot and contour lines on this foot good and then let's put some contour lines on his leg so i'm going to bend the contour lines this way so they're upside down use on that part of his leg and then on this part of his leg i'm going to bend the contour lines this way and then that makes it look like his leg is bent and we could have probably done that on his arm too but that's okay we did it the same direction so on this one we'll do the same thing so two two going this way and then we'll do a couple we could just do two or three going down this way good job chuckers he looks super awesome i love how your mommy turned out he looks scary but not too scary yeah so our friends at home after they're done with this lesson they can do a lot of cool stuff in the background they could put a haunted house back there or maybe even like a tomb that he's coming out of or the pyramid that would look awesome don't you think what's the most important thing when we're doing art to have fun yes to have fun we hope you guys had a lot of fun drawing your
