I'm going to show you how to make my favorite kind of earrings to wear I love wearing post earrings as I have kind of shorter hair and my favorite thing to do is to find buttons at a craft store cut the shank off and make them into earrings I'm going to show you how to do that so what you need is a pair of wire cutters like a jewelry that you can find in the jewelry section a shank button to shake buttons actually post you can buy these at any craft store and an earring back and you cut off the shank with your wire cutters close your eyes so you don't get a piece of plastic in the eye then with a hot glue gun just squirt a dab of glue kind of a large dad and put the post right in the center and I kind of like to move it around so that the glue kind of comes up over the top and just press it down really good and sometimes I even try and press the glue down over the top of the post and then you can also buy earring backs slide on the post and you have a very inexpensive earring that you can you can find shank buttons in all colors and sizes and shapes and it's fabulous
