Please explain how to build an inexpensive crested gecko cage

hi this is Wally Kern the supreme gecko have a few crested geckos that are getting up to size and I'm going to have to set up a couple of enclosures for the males and females so today we're going to go over how to set up the plastic enclosure for your crusted geckos to breed them we're going to use 90 core containers for our crusty geckos that's a male and up to three females and we're going to show you the supplies today us the screen a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks on this is optional a jigsaw or a soldering iron and all the supplies the plastic plants and cork bark you can cut your holes in the enclosure two different ways we prefer to use a soldering iron or you can use a jigsaw it's a little bit quicker but you run the risk of cracking your enclosure so we'll get the tubs ready here and start cutting the holes with the soldering iron I'll be right back go ahead and find an object that you'll use to make the circles on your enclosure the signs that you need for holes for ventilation be like a small masking tape roll I'm going to place it on the enclosure and just draw a circle around so we can cut that that ball out make a circle on the side and then - and in the front and one on the other side we've made all four circles now we're ready to go ahead and cut the holes out and again we prefer the soldering iron it's a little bit slower than the jigsaw but it's a lot safer so go ahead and start your ball and then slowly work your way around the hole make sure that you have plenty of ventilation in your room and eventually you'll make your way around the wall and be ready to put the screen on okay our bowls almost cut I'm going to go ahead and finish it off here any of the conscious of safety first make sure that you always push away from yourself so that just in case you slip you don't cut me you're going to burn yourself with the soldering gun okay we've got our first hole I'm going to go ahead and knock that piece of plastic out and we'll use over is way to trim the edges of this hole as well okay we're just finishing up trimming the holes with our razor blade and again safety first here you don't want to cut toward yourself make sure that you cut away have a nice edge here a nice smooth edge that we can put on put the screen on with the hot glue gun the next step is to cut out your screen to the size of fold that you need so we're going to go ahead and measure this screen up to the hole size cut out a score a little bit bigger than the hole and get it ready for this hot glue gun and just finishing cutting our screen so now we have a square just a little bit bigger than the hole size all right I'm finishing up I have a circle all the way around the screen and I'm just dabbing in two corners and spaces that I missed a little bit earlier we finish hot gluing the screen on to the hole and as you can see it's pretty firm on there and now we're all set to put in the decorations what I do is I go out to a fabric store and buy the cheapest plants that I can find and we'll go ahead and put those in here like to spread these out quite a bit any kind of plants will do you like to load up the the enclosure with our plastic plants and I love using cork bark bark it's so light and we'll go ahead and put a piece of that in and as you can see this is a hollow piece and not person geckos just love to crawl on top of it and in between it scrub up my plastic plants on top give them some climbing area and finally make sure you have a hide we use moss you can use for make you light or peat anything to give some moisture to the rustic echoes you can see we have a hole in the top of the high and adding the hype we're all set for the top on and include the crusted geckos and now you have a nice plastic enclosure for your crusty geckos thanks for viewing and again this is why I care with supreme gecko
