we've made installing your shutters simple thanks to our easy installation system before starting clear as much space as possible around the window most installations require a small hammer drill screwdriver and spirit level most orders are delivered with long thin boxes containing the shutter frames and larger boxes with the panels if you've specified on your order the room or window your shutters are for it'll be marked on the label on the box one box has yellow tape or a label indicating the hardware is inside frames are marked at the end to indicate their position on the window lay the frames on the floor with the hinge face down place a small piece of cardboard between the hinge and floor to avoid damage facing towards you the frame is mitered at the appropriate corner take one of the bowtie shaped fixings and tap into the hole to assemble the frame lift the frame to the window fix the frame with one screw on the left and one on the right allowing you movement if the windows out of square next you're ready to install the panel's panels are numbered from left to right in this video one is the panel on the far left and for the panel on the far right the last number on the label on the bottom of each panel shows its location lift the left-hand panel up to the window lift the hinge pin link the hinge parts together and drop the pin to lock the panels into place attach the remaining panels in the same way fix the remaining screws into the frames depending upon your frame type insert the cover strip wood caps or a small dab of cog to fill the frame screw holes fine-tuning the level of your panels can be achieved by adjusting the hinge up or down when happy with the position insert the hinge locking screw for a perfect finish run a thin line of caulk or filler between the frame and your window remember if in doubt about what you're doing consult a DI by professional all contact does and we'd be happy to answer any questions you have
