welcome back this is chris with wildflower landscape services we are here in thornton colorado at a residence we recently installed an egress window well for them they had just a basic steel window well that wasn't quite big enough to code and they finished their basement and so we had to per code make a bigger window for an escape as you can see it's pretty basic stuff it's just pavestone blocks retaining wall blocks with a top cap we went with kind of a two-tone color and basically stone down in the bottom on this side over here is the ladder for the escape if there is some type of emergency this is real simple to do the hardest part of this was actually digging all the dirt out once the dirt was out it was pretty easy to uh start leveling out the blocks really the first level is the hardest part getting those level and after that it's just stacking and then backfilling the dirt but this is a simple solution to an egress window that's aesthetically pleasing looks nice better than the steel metal and functions for the purpose so stay tuned for more youtube videos with chris from wildflower landscape thank you
