what's up everyone today's video is going to be how to wire up a two prong on/off toggle switch or rocker switch basically about the same thing no but you don't want to do is don't be stupid like me when I was younger I used to think one was positive one was negative but if you do it the other way you're going to burn something out and you might catch something on fire so what you need to do is go out and get you a rocker switch on/off switch toggle switch in for the two prong go ahead and buy some red wire for it but it's going to be a positive also buy one of these little connectors because this is what it's made for right here once you got everything you need and some wire I don't have any lying around what you're gonna do is you're going to take one positive either from battery or if you're using a fuse jumper take your positive hook it to one side and then take another positive line and you're gonna run that one to whatever you're trying to run if it's a white or a horn or whatever you're going to run one of them to that and then Anita from there to either something metal or to the battery I'm the one coming in from the battery on that positive line to your switch you can put a fuse on there I recommend it I would just so you don't burn something out in case your voltage coming in is it's too high too many amps whatever not real savvy with it well that's pretty much it both of these rocker switch toggle switch same thing both of them are two prong if you don't have this then you can't have a three prong which both of these are going to be positive all the time remember that it's a two prong it's positive coming in and going out and that's how you're gonna kill the battery or kill to kill the power to whatever you're trying to run well that's it for today's video that's how to wire up a two prong on/off toggle switch or rocker switch thanks for watching hit that subscribe button wherever it may be until next time peace
