hi whats up guys today I'm going to show you a super easy way to make cool accessories um I'm going to make a choker necklace and choker bracelets I guess um I have another video for how to make a choker necklace which is a bit more complicated this is going to be a super easy way of pace it's going to be really fast it's a great way to spiff up an outfit if you don't have any money to spending it on new stuff or you know something like that so this could be made with stuff that you probably have lying around your house if you have to do crafts or sewing and stuff so I'm only using two things today other than the same machine of course and they are both satin ribbon the first one is super thick like this i'm using all black today you can choose any color you want and then i have a regular satin ribbon which is like one centimeter wants a meter and a half something like that you can choose anything you want for this basically this is just the way that I'm going to do it so first off you perv scissors and if you want you can measure your neck but i'm just going to use the rhythm straightaway just take it all the way around so basically this is the measurement for around my neck now I want to add um maybe three centimeters or something like that to that measurement so that we have enough to fold and sew the edges shut this thicker rhythm is made from pure satin this one has / tonight on it so um these edges can be burnt to keep from shredding but the big one we have to stow shot ok ok so my measurement is right here just go with a bit more than that i'm also going to cut pieces for my wrists so same thing just measuring with the ribbon itself and adding a couple of centimeters now the way i'm going to tie this you tie it differently you can tie it at the back and just to keep it this super easy simple just like this or you can make the short ribs long enough to go around all the way like this and put a little bow the front or on the side and you can put my beads and stuff on it just do all kinds of crap you want you can go to stuff to it but i want to make this really really simple today okay and i would refer the ribbon in the front thing this means that i have to have a pretty long pieces of the the thin ones so that they can reach all the way around and since this is really think i'm going to go with double on each side so there's going to be one stone to the top and one bit further down to vote so there's going to be two little bows anything you have to tie them at the same place you can just work around and you do whatever you want ok so i'm going to do this by folding the edge down from the thick one sort of like hemming and then just lay the the third ones down where I want them and and then right about there will be good and then I'm going to sew right across here so this is going to be the site that's going to be facing out so do that for both sides and then you're basically done with your sewing I said this is super easy so do for both sides and do the same thing for your wrist pieces always going a couple of steps on the reverse in the beginning so that the thread doesn't open up and then I did the same thing at the end okay it's time for the final step my three pieces have been sewn together with the ribbons and it's time for something really important that you really can't pre out if you plan on using these and that is sealing the ends off of the tiny ribbons if you're not using a ribbon that has a part nylon in it but you can't use this technique you can't burn it but you can use transparent glue and just glue the edges yep that works just as well but I'm going to use a lighter for this now you're not supposed to keep it like in the flame and keep it burning because nylon is like a plastic so it's going to melt the edges are going to look like this if you can see that you see the thread thing coming up here yeah that's like part of the thing that has melted so it's sealed now now a couple of seconds after you've done this you need to just leave it alone don't lay it like on top of the fiber because it's going to stick it's going to be like a glue pretty much so this is what I'm going to do just light it and just hold it in there and it just sealed off you see that that's the way you do it so do that for all your edges and remember it's time to put them all on guys and there you go now okay I admit that my beanie and the clothes I'm wearing are not like optimal for this look goo Berra would like an evening gown or something but just to show you what it looked like and now I've kept um the ribbon pretty long because I think it looks better than just how to cut off and just tell them both but do whatever you want and this is what it looks like on my hand just do whatever you want with this so super easy but fun way to make accessories I just love these simple things that you can do um the thing about the ones for your wrist is that they're quite tricky to put on yourself so you have to have somebody to help you tie I enjoy those myself and yeah it's it's pretty different because you do like this with your hands yeah all right well I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial
