this prop brought to you by Sam requested them drop minecraft decks materials for this prop include cardboard electrical tape adhesive foam squares duct tape aluminum tape gray-brown and charcoal acrylic paint scissors and a pen or pencil first draw a 13 by 13 inch grid pattern and Mark out your axe shape within it each square should be 1 inch by 1 inch cut out the template and use it to trace 7 more just like it remember to always use your first template when tracing the others cut out all of them so you have eight shapes total wrap them all together with electrical tape paint your adhesive squares brown and gray you'll need 22 Brown and 30 gray for the entire X this will be both the front and the back in addition you'll need 48 squares paint gray on the sides you'll never see the top so it's not necessary to paint set your first two Brown squares at the point of your X followed by one gray and build your design from there for the next gray square stack three of your side painted pieces before setting the next gray piece on top place the next gray piece beside it and repeat this checker pattern for the entire X fill in the rest of the brown pieces on the handle for the outer edge of the blade stack three squares next to the stack place another square so that is the reverse checker pattern of the gray in terms of depth beneath the one square portions stack three more squares set an additional square at the very end of the x-blade on both sides use duct tape to cover the gaps where the squares intersect then cover the squares in aluminum tape add a square on both sides of the brown square at each end of the X and wrap it with duct tape and aluminum tape paint the aluminum taped squares with charcoal colored paint and paint the two end pieces Brown repeat the entire process on the other side of your ex and there's your finished minecraft ex so apparently you can also build this with two sticks and several pieces of iron not sure how you ah
