right now we're demonstrating how to harvest the moringa tree leaves you can begin to harvest them once they become about three feet high and what we like to do is just go along each of the branches and just pull the leaves right off and once it's about three three feet high the the all the branches become strong so they don't break off so you can just kind of just slide your finger as you see here and they strip all the leaves off and then we just put them into a container which would be perfect prepared for them to dry out and make the moringa leaf powder and you can do this either by letting them sun dry or you can put them in a dehydrator which is you know fairly fast and easy you should do this about every eight weeks once you strip all the leaves off usually about eight weeks the tree will be full of leaves again to where you can go right back and do the same thing the nutrition in the moringa leaves are so incredible that's one reason why they call it the miracle tree of life because it has basically everything in it to sustain life and many of us especially in the united states are lacking nutrition throughout the world you know there's malnutrition and these trees actually prevent malnutrition because it's loaded with all the amino acids that our body needs it's loaded with vitamins full of protein which is quite hard to find in green vegetables so if you are a vegetarian this tree is exceptional because a lot of vegetarians can suffer from malnutrition because they're not uh getting the proper nutrients needed um when you're just eating you know natural vegetables you got to make sure you're eating a lot of different vegetables so make sure you cover the protein a lot of the vitamins that we need to sustain life so the moringa tree is excellent for that you
