welcome to Starbound and right now we're going to crop the pickaxe okay so first let's head head to our crafting table for us e and find out what we need for this pickaxe I'm going to start by typing in pick and here we can see we have the stone pickaxe and we need a 10 cobblestone and 20 wood planks cobblestone we can get out of the earth and wood planks we can make from unrefined would so I have all of those we can go over to craft and we've just select the button and at the bottom it confirms that we've made the axe and it found the first available slot and it's now in my two in my hot keys alright so first let's find out what we need in order to craft an axe let's go to our table Pressey and let's type in acts okay so a stone axe takes 10 cobblestone and 20 wood planks alright and if you don't know how to craft any of those items of well cobblestone you get out of the ground and wood planks you can just type in here as well okay and as you can see what planks take one unrefined wood and that makes three planks okay so let's go back let's make our acts we're going to type in X select stone axe and craft you see at the bottom we got one stone axe okay and press I for inventory grab our X put it into our hot bar alright and let's find some trees okay I think we need to kill that guy you look hostile okay all right so we should probably kill that other guy to he's probably going to come in try to destroy our plan okay so let's grab our well actually i'll show you first with a pickaxe a pickaxe can be used to chop down the tree as well okay and this is going to take a little bit longer than the axe let's now use the ax okay so you can see why it would be beneficial to get an axe as well because even though you can chop down a tree with a pick axe the axe works much faster thank you for watching and please remember to subscribe for more videos thanks
