Please explain how to smooth wrinkled ribbon with your flat iron | cards by stephanie

hello paper crafters this is Stephanie from cards bye Stephanie and what I have here is a jumbled mess of ribbon I was married recently and we registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and I like to reuse and repurpose things so I had all this beautiful Bed Bath & Beyond ribbon left over and I like to use it in my paper crafts the problem is look at how wrinkly it is when I undo this bow which has been tied for months you see it's it's really pinched here and if you also like to repurpose and reuse ribbon or if you come across ribbon scraps at a yard sale and or you know just or anywhere and you just stuff them somewhere and forget about them you may have trouble actually using them well today I want to show you a trick I'm using my Chi flat iron I think any brand will do I've cleaned this with some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball and you can see it's on and what I'm gonna do is just remind you how wrinkly this is and I'm going to slowly pull it through just like I would with my hair and I don't want to leave it on there too long sometimes it'll slip if you leave it on there too long too long it might cook it kind of like your hair so this is just one pastor and you can see it already looks better so I just wanted to show you how much flatter you can get it with a flatiron now I wouldn't recommend trying it with something like this this could probably burn and I think it might even have yeah it's got wire in there so don't use anything like this but if you have satiny ribbon or flat grass green or grosgrain however you say it ribbon then that should work with your flat iron well thanks for watching my video as you can see I've got a lot more work to do
