hey this is DJ from awesome web show I'm going to show you how to make a plush ninja with just a few simple supplies so I have these ninjas that I've already made some of them have hair and decorations on the back of them you can use different sized eyes different color hair different color felt to make them all individual the materials you'll need to make an engine is felt for the body um a needle and thread scissors felt for the face possibly hair and eyes step 1 you want to trace your pattern on your piece of body felt I taped again I pinned a template to the felt and then you cut around it I found this one on the flicker but any ninja pattern will do so just go ahead and cut it while it's still pinned onto your felt and you can take out the pins as you're cutting if it makes it easier I'm done cutting I have the back in the front of the ninja the next step is to sew the perimeter of the ninja except for one of the arms so that you can stop it so you take your needle and thread and you sew all the way around it until it turns out like this so then you have your arm open and you can turn it inside out which is the next step this is the stitch I used to sew my ninja I went all the way around here's the stitch I used okay so once you sew all the way around the ninja except for the arm you want to turn it inside out so that you won't see the stitches as much when you stuff it you might want to use a pencil or the tip of your scissors to push out the legs of the arms okay so once your hinges inside out even though it's ahead and take some stuffing and stick it inside to get it into the legs I usually roll it up and then stick it in the leg once you fill up your ninja you want to show the arm that you haven't so me I finished sewing the yarn make sure you tie it off to do that go in and out of the same stitch a few times doing the normal stitch and then taking your needle through the loop and it'll tie it in and up once you cut off the thread your ninja is almost done you need to take the felt that you picked out for your face and cut out the face template once it's cut out position it on your ninja get your eyes you can either use beads half circle buttons like I'm using or just regular buttons and go ahead and sew on the eyes you want to use the eyes to attach the face to the body you don't want to sew the face on before the pan once you sit on both eyes you can either be finished or you can add hair which is what I'm going to do to make hair you can take some felt like you used for the face and take your needle and scrape the felt until it starts to get fluffy like hair like that now I've already I already have some here so I'll go ahead and sew it on and there you go now if you just make enough of them you'll have a whole family of ninjas to play with for ninja
