Please explain how to repair a snag in a sweater

Hi, I'm Debrah DeMirza and I'm at Deluxe,
a resale clothing boutique in Eugene, Oregon and today I'm going to show you how to fix
a snag in a sweater. There's a couple of different ways you can do it. Sometimes if it's just
a matter of gently pulling on both sides of the snag, you can pull the threads that have
been stretched out, back, along this, the line where it was snagged and it will ease
the snag back into the fabric. If that doesn't work, then you can use, if it's a large weave
sweater, you can take a bobby pin and then push it back through. This one I'm going to
use, I'm going to try to use just a big needle with some embroidery thread on it and sometimes
this works and sometimes it doesn't. So we'll see. So what I do is I determine where the
snag is coming out of, you want to go back through that fabric as close to as where it
came out of as possible. This one is lined and instead of undoing the lining, I'm going
to try something here that I just send the needle through, right where the snag came
out and you can come out the other side because it won't show. Then what I do is I take the
snag and kind of wrap it around the thread of this big glob of thread I'm going to pull
through it and sometimes that will pull the snag right into the area and you can just
kind of work the thread around so that it kind of pulls it through onto this other thread
and you can put your finger over it just to make sure it kind of pulls the fabric through.
That's how you fix a snag in a sweater.
