Please explain how to make hungarian goulash

hey what's up Nikki here um getting ready to do a hungarian goulash recipe for you um so I posts i'm going to post the picture it'll be in here somewhere if i can figure it out but wait this is what you're going to need a large you'll actually egg noodles after so if you have to it's better so this one and of course neither once in the dishwasher right now you need two pounds stew meat I'll probably cut those a little bit smaller those are a little bit big but you want them in 1-inch cubes a medium onion this one's kind of small so I'm going to put to you want a garlic you don't want dry garlic so no garlic powder you want shortening or you can use butter I've used butter in the past this time I'm going to try and use this you're going to need salt ketchup brown mustard brown sugar doesn't matter if it's dark paprika and you're going to need of course quarter cup but that's probably later and then this and then for the noodles I use the Pennsylvania Dutch doesn't matter you can use whatever brand this was on sale so i got these a masher and you want to make sure that you have a lid for your meat so I guess we'll probably get started on I'm going to pause this I'm not going to record while I'm cutting the meat i will show you what the meat looks like after be back you ok so i guess i can show you a little bit they have one dirty hand so what I'm doing it is I'm cutting them into smaller cubes because those are big so you want them m 1 inch cube so this is kind of good too because then you can cut the fat off you don't want fat in there so I'll be back ok so once you cut up your beef what you want to do is you want to take the shortening and you want to take a quarter cup sorry I had to stack these for the camera and then you want to put it so you take your shortening sorry shortening in the pop and now you want to take your garlic and you want to do if you could open the jar and 8th of it I usually just guess I'm not a garlic person but I'll just you know however much I want and then I haven't done that onion yet so I have to do the onion and then i'll be home I'm going to chop early and probably sorry I should have got almost done I okay so you want to slice onion I don't slice it too thick cuz you want them to oh great so when I'm only doing two because I didn't think that was considered a medium so I did that one and a small one so now i'm going to put them in the pot with the shortage and separate them of course because you don't want to put them in clumps cuz that's stupid and I turn it on and clean up your mess okay so what you want to do is you have onion you have the shortening and I were going to add the beef in there that's two cones of 1-inch cubes sorry OCD cake so I get something for it with you know I don't work so that's what it looks like moster it so you have to go until it's gone so I'll be back with it you can get your other stuff together if you want to go ahead and write this down you're going to need one tablespoon of packed brown sugar and then you're going to need 2 teaspoons of salt 2 teaspoons of paprika a half a teaspoon of dry mustard and three-quarters cup of ketchup and that's all you'll need for now for dry ingredients so wow that is getting ground as you can see it's not completely brown there's still some red and you don't want any red isn't it to be browned so not cooked cooked but bro you don't work it's a new pink so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and put all these ingredients into a little Bowl and I'll be back all right so when you see that it's not pink anymore it's brown then you want to go ahead and drain it so I'm going to go ahead and drink get as much out as you can alright so now what I'm going to do now is I'm going to take one and a half cold water pour it in water cup so now you have three quarters ketchup and then you want to take care dry that use app which is the one tablespoon of pepper sugar two teaspoons of salt two teaspoons paprika and half a teaspoon of dry mustard paprika one and to then my ingredients are the ones that i have listed you go over your list to make sure you got everything and then if you want to boil it good so i turned it on high so once that boils then you're going to reduce the heat so once that boils you reduce the heat you cover it with the cover and if it left its a cover with a fat make sure the vent is closed so you want to cover that and cook it for two to two and a half hours depending on how tender it is um so I'm going to come back in two hours usually it takes about two hours because there are small pieces um so I'll be back at two hours i'll check the meat and then i'll let you know what to do from there but it's already starting to boil but you want it to be a full boil cuz that's not really boiling that's what i would call bubbling some oh what's that boils like i said i'm going to put the cover on i'm gonna set the timer for two hours and then i'll come back and we will go from there so until then I am out of here I gotta go clean up my mess it's a mess okay so by now you should be able to smell it all throughout your house so good alright normally I tell you not to take the cover off but I'm going to take the call can you smell that I can and it smells yummy okay so anyways um well now what you do I have 16 minutes left so I still have a little bit of time so what you can go ahead to is if you wanted to you can get the noodles ready now or you can wait just to make sure you know it's really done because then you don't want your noodles to get cold even though you can just run them with hot water but um so I'll come back in about 15 minutes and we'll see if it's ready excuse me ok so my water is boiling almost boiling so I'm getting ready to close my timer when I'm not going two minutes so just cook it as it says this one is half a package seven to eight minutes same thing for a whole package um so I would cook it breakfast is seven um so while that's going on then you can go ahead and get yourself a small container with a lid on it you want to make sure it's a secure lid where nothing will still out I just grabbed the little container you can use a ball whatever as long as it has a lid because you need a lid for what we're about to do okay now my water is set my timer eight minutes stir news ok now I'm to the minute all right so and you can see it mashing it because you don't want it to be chunky but once we get to the next episode it'll get a little bit better hilarious that appears to be done so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to do the next step which is I'm going to take a quarter cup of cold water and put some flour which will be two tablespoons of flour so I'm going to do that we're all right put a cup of water when container 1tbsp two tables lid on and shake choo choo choo choo so it kind of looks like milk to do make sure you shake good enough where it's all mixed up and stuff you know what you want to do is you want to gradually mix it see if I can do this you probably can't see in the pot but so what I'm doing is I'm just taking a little bit and you want when you're doing this you want to cut that meister it will just I'm graduate a little bit more and as you stir it you're kind of breaking it up a little bit you know we feel free to push down with your spoon or whatever when you break the the chunky pieces up how it doesn't look as chunky no I'm just gonna dump the rest of it in there the camera but normally we gradually do it like all directions my noodles are boiling suppose I should turn it down a little so you just want to keep mixing this but you only want to mix it for about a minute or so after you have all the flour and water in and then you can take your spoon or your masher whichever you prefer and keep mashing it but that's pretty much it Hungarian Goulash I'm going to put the car back on and shut that off and meet up mamas and the noodles will be done in about two minutes so I will pray that noodles or dice and going to stop drain the noodles it'll be done that's done so now hey there you go anyway help you enjoy the video let me know how yours turned out let me know in the
