all right guys today i'm going to show you how to um change the color of the teapot that we saw we have a couple different styles um we have this guy here i don't know if you can see that real well we this um little teapot is comes in like a creamy white black and red and i got some call uh it's not not called but emails saying um do we have them in different colors but those are the only colors that we have so i'm going to show you how to make them metallic or whatever color you want um i'm using an enamel and that is made from testers okay and um these are plastic so um this type of enamel is good because it's for like models which are made of plastic all right so what you're going to need you're going to need your the color you want your pot and these come in all colors they come in gold silver purple red blue all shades of rainbow so what you're gonna need is some applicators makeup applicators or paint brushes that you really don't care for because this stuff does not wash out well so you're going to have to dispose of them and you know open a window because this stuff is very stinky and you need some ventilation okay so let's get started so i started by um painting the bottom first you know you could always go back and do touch-ups but i started painting the bottom first and then you can wait a while and let that dry but i'm just gonna show you a little bit because when you let it dry um you know you get some a little piece of wax or something sticky and stick it on something flat uh if you don't have a like one of those pastry rose makers i found like just something flat on top this is some putty but i use this to paint this this uh little teapot right there so you stick the wax on the bottom when the bottom is dry and then you paint the rest so we'll just pretend that that's dry but i can't stick it on there but anyways oh paint the rest of the sky and um it's pretty simple like i i didn't really think about it until i was like you know what i don't i want some different color pots so i was thinking of a way to color them and i went to the store and i was like oh yeah you can use enamel so if you're going to use this for jewelry i suggest coating it with some type of sealer um and there's all sorts so you know you can they have just fresh brushable ones anyhow so pretty much um that's the gist of it and when it dries it's gonna look like this like this one and uh you probably want to wear gloves because there you go you probably want to wear gloves because you don't want the stuff on your skin and it's flammable so don't be smoking or anything like that when you're using this stuff no flames close by or same thing like that but this is a it's pretty quick to dry put my fingers all over it messing it up sorry but um pretty quick to dry and you can you know it's a really cost-effective way to change the color of a plastic pot that you don't like the color or even like um the bowls we sell uh we have black white clear and for the plastic ones and uh so anyways you can do that with all the plastic items that we sell and just coat them when you're done and then that's the finished product so that's the short tutorial for you guys today i hope you enjoyed it bye you
