Go to Beadaholique.com for all of your beading supplies needs! Hi. This is Julie with Beadaholique.com.
Today we're going to do a product demo of the Mirco-Flame Torch. This is great for using in various jewelry
projects including resin making when you want to get the bubbles out, soldering, jewelry casting wax working, metal sculpting and a whole bunch of other
applications. So first off when you get the torch you're
gonna need to fill it. To fill it we're going to just use a butane canister. And we've got this just at the local drugstore
so you can find it in multiple places. Your grocery store might have it, it not a hardware
store surely would. So to fill the Micro Torch what we're going to do is we are going to take the canister and we're going to hold the Micro Flame upside down. There's a little area right here with where this
nozzle is going to go right into. We're going to fit that over and we're going to press down. You're going to hear a little bit of a hissing
sound and that is the butane going into the torch. When it squirts out like that, that means it's full. You don't need to seal it off or anything. Now if you're not filling the torch for the
first time and you've used it before and it's going to be a refill, make sure your torch is off before it you fill it. Our torches here that we sell at Beadaholique.com
come with a nice little stand. So you could just put that aside until you're
ready to use it again. Now when you want to go ahead and use it what
we're first going to do is we are gonna slide this little tab right
here so it's in the middle to where it says gas and then we're gonna rotate the air adjustment ring. You can see in here
that there's little holes. What we want to do is to make sure that those
holes are halfway covered and and this is going to adjust your flame
later on. It's good to start at the halfway mark. To start your torch what you're going to do is pull
down the safety switch. You can see right here. I'm gonna pull it down
with my thumb. You hear it click into place. Now this is the ignition button. So when I want to
start my flame, I push the ignition button in. You can see my flame. If I release it the flame goes away. So to restart it go ahead pull that button down. Hit the ignition switch and then if you want to continous
flame you push that button right there and it's going to
hold the flame for you. Now you can use this for your projects. To turn off the flame you just go ahead and hit that ignition switch again and it releases and your torch is now off and
you can set it aside for future use. Go to Beadaholique.com for all of your beading supplies needs!
