can i my name's Chuck and you with the tickets club in our trial gardens we've had an amazing summer season we've grown so many beautiful things but now we're going to put a little something into the soil to make sure that we have an amazing season next spring so we're big proponents of green manures we think they're amazing they do a few things they would return a lot of nutrients to the ground especially nitrogen it also suppresses any weeds that might grow over winter as well and they build the soil up so they really improve the biodiversity and we want excellent soil for an excellent season next year so I've got some autumn manure mix here it's got an amazing mix of barley and vetch and fees and legumes all different kinds of things inside that this is an amazing pack because it actually comes with a little inoculant inside and so I'll simply just dampen these seeds before I just broadcast them out and just mixed it better than enough - Lizzie oh you can actually put the inoculum into watering can so I've got my bread already here the main thing used to make sure that it's all weed free because you don't want that competition and you don't want that weed seed in your bed and then I'm simply gonna [Applause] nice and generous and then I'm just gonna ride you will start growing and it will grow really well for about six to eight weeks you want to cut it down pull that green menu starts flowering once you've cut it down turn it into your soil and leave it for about four or six weeks and you all be set up for a beautiful season
