hello and welcome to miss gayla's cooking channel this is a halloween special today we're going to make witch's fingers they're made out of breadsticks they're super easy and fun for the kids to help with so let's get started the list of ingredients that you'll need for your witch's fingers are some breadstick dough a cookie sheet some cooking spray sliced almonds and either green or black olive and the white from one egg remember when you have kids helping you that they wash their hands first okay so now my sons are going to help me prepare the ladies fingernails drew is going to cut some olives go ahead and cut one in half and let's show them what it looks like again you can use the green or the black kind of saw it there you go back and forth beautiful one little green finger now right in the bowl and go ahead and keep going and you can do the black put the green in here oh right yeah okay and then chris is going to show us how to pick out the just perfect fingernail-like almonds from the back that's it that looks like a pretty fingernail i wish my fingernails look that pretty go ahead and put those in that little container i'm going to go ahead and break the egg you only want to use your egg white and a little kitchen tip you don't need a special tool or to buy anything just crack your egg in half hold the yolk in one half spill it into the other half while draining the the white part out just go back and forth a couple times so that you get all your white of your egg out and your yolk is in here and then you can throw it away or you can give it to your dog if you haven't oh so i've gone ahead preheated the oven to 375. i've sprayed my cooking sheet the boys are still looking for beautiful fingernails you're probably good on the green uh i think i might as well just finish off the last two okay and then um i purchased some garlic flavored breadsticks because i thought that would be nice and then some plain but as soon as i open these they smell really good okay so now why don't you grab some dojo and start rolling some fingers oh that one's perfect for a fingernail yeah don't you give her you need to get some olive fingernails right now so we're almost done making our witch's fingers one more thing that you can add if you'd like is you can also cut pepperonis out and add those to the tip for like a little red finger now and then you get your knife a little butter knife is fine you can add other things as well and you kind of draw some marks in there for her knuckles okay the final step is to brush it with just a little bit of egg white and then i want to ask you guys something do you want to sprinkle it with some herbs so it looks like she's got hairy fingers or is this enough i think on some of them we should okay they're ready to be put in the oven again it's 375 for about 10 15 minutes you can check on your witch's fingers and keep an eye on all right oh these witchy speakers look fabulous all right folks so that's it now we've made our witch's fingers i have one little ring for one special finger go ahead thank you awesome thanks guys for all your help i couldn't have done it without you happy halloween
