hey guys welcome to my kitchen here in Munich Germany I'm gonna show you some very typical German recipes and they are easy to prepare and they are really really tasteful and I'm sure you will love it and the thing we start off with is some pork roast some pork roast in a dark beer cells and that is something very very typical for Munich for from Bavaria you might have eaten it if you have been here before or if you have been to the Oktoberfest or something it comes with potato dumplings and the crowd salad we will prepare that separately in another video and we start off with a progress one and 1/4 kilo the important thing is this is something from the shoulder of the pig and it comes with the wind with the skin of the pork and the first thing we have to do is to cut this Rindt because in the end we want to make it a crust you just cut in one direction not crosswires because the meat is very tender and soft and if you would cut it crosswise wise the crust would fall apart in yet so you make like little stripes and in the end every slice of the part of the roast pork has its own crust then okay we take some salt and some caraway seeds and they're really nice and they take plenty of it and we put it on the mead everywhere don't worry if you make a mess in the kitchen it's worth it alright and the same with a salt that's nice okay oil in it okay while it's getting hot we need some more things I got like three old carrots they are not nice but doesn't matter they don't have to be extremely fresh or beautiful or anything they're just for the sauce they make some taste in the soul later on just cut them roughly put it in the pan let me need garlic of course some garlic for the big taste as I'm a very lazy person I don't like to peel garlic so what I do to peel it very easily is just push with my hand take a look and now I'll take my two onions they even put the sauce anyway so a couple one side and the other side and then I just cut them they're deeply and take up the dry skin with the first onion skin so this is very easy and a fast way to peel an onion all right I got something very special here this is some pig bones and we put them inside of this as well and get them roasted they give them wonderful tasting in yet so all right so I put this side and then here comes the pork because in here this have to be roasted from every site for a couple of minutes I'm buying it goes into the oven and now the most important thing about the salsa is the beer it's a dark beer I mean I don't know what you can get in your country where you're gonna took it but don't take a light beer it has got to have a full-bodied and a strong taste don't care about the alcohol because the alcohol doesn't need into the air and the first couple of seconds there won't be enough souls in the end so you can let children eat this as well I would say it's like two fingers high and that's how you put it in the oven for at least like two hours with 180 to 190 degrees and in between you can push some some fluid over the top like every half an hour and if it's not enough fluid anymore you just refill it with beer so this is no worries anymore for the next two hours the salsa folks Oh have a look at that that looks really good the ring is not yet a crust we do that in the grill afterwards but first of all we're gonna prepare the sauce we have to reduce this a little because it's very much in it still very fluent that's why I take some of the carrots and the onions put it in there and mix it up as you can see these are my dumplings from the other video they serve as a side dish and they are almost good [Applause] now we put this in back in the oven and switch on the grill this is very important now you have to keep an eye on that because the gorilla works very fast and all of a sudden it's burned but you just want to have it crisp so be careful Wow take a look at that this is a perfect crust you see mmm yummy now it makes slices from this and then we are almost ready to eat so you make like thin slices from it oh you see soft and tender and it has a crust and it's still juicy and now you take a little of that sauce around alright this is my pork roast and of course comes with one of the dumplings oh look how beautiful they look very nice you can see how to make them in another video and of course I tell you how to make the crowd salad it goes with it as well if you like it please subscribe my channel and tell your friends about it enjoy your meal
