hey what's up guys Berthe fish tanks coming to you with another great video and I hope everyone's having a fine day today in this video I'll be showing you guys a hot set up a football sick canister filter and if you watch my previous video I mentioned that this is my first kind of steel filter so I will try my best to show you how to set it up step 1 unpack and identify all part you want to do this up before you even start the assembly you have to make sure there's no missing part it tends to happen so you don't want to get stuck halfway I've done that in my unboxing video so you haven't see it the limb will be popping on the screen by now so the wall check it out step 2 filter placement choose the place where you will be putting your filter know that the filter must always be positioned below the aquarium and the counter step base has never be more than four and a half feet below the water level I can only assume this has to be to get the most efficiency of your filter and mine is going on under my stand here step 3 ring connector assembly at this point you will be placing only the bottom half and you will secure it with suction cups that they provide you and they release it to put in place we want to place it it's completely up to you if you guys notice I'm actually using the form of my tank but it's for the purpose of this video only and and you guys can tell I already got one of the ring connectors on the other side and some about show you is pretty simple you simply want to open the ring connector and put it in place I notice that one of the suction cups is going inside and the other stays outside and you simply press it and there's no way it's moving step 4 prepare the intake and output connections first thing connect the Aqua stop ball and to do that I will simply put it in place and press this thing all the way down after that connect one end of the hose in to the intake connector of the ball and turn the lock not counterclockwise until it is us ties you can make it without forcing place your canister is going to be mine is going to be there for the purpose of this video what we want to do then is measure and cut out the ocean I went ahead and did that already for the purpose of this video as well but keep in mind that are a good three or four inches of the host is going in your tank so it's basically if you leave it a bit longer and you can always cut ashore in the final installations if necessary and now connect the intake assembly to the hosing and place it in your tank with the suction cup provided advanced you want to place the top hop ring connector so what you want to do is just squeeze this to the bottom part and push down the top bar until just you hear it click twice and after that we want to do the same thing for the outlet so that we have it guys both sides down step 5 I'll prepare the the filter media remove all from the connoisseur and we want to do is reach it we're running water if you want to do this recipe we need what about the consulate in the media when we do in the package you want to label here then just place like everything kind of head back to your time so we are back to my tank and I don't know if any of you guys will notice but uh I didn't raise my carbon and the reason for that is because I'm not going to use it instead up up to I put some k1 in the canister that I have laying around so there's one last step ah to finish this step six complete the last assembly what we have left is to click the impeller covering position and to fit the gasket in the channel around the base of the cover so I've got the impeller cover right here and it's pretty place so here's the channel that I mentioned to you guys where the lightest gas gets going so I'm not trying to put it right now but if I can I probably won't put it on the video and just show you how it looks at the end well guess what this is not Akhtar and you see there step 7 start the filter you can see I put the cover back on the canister as well as the aquas top valve put it back in the in place so what I'm going to do now is to open the bulb by pushing the top lever here all the way down after that you want to pump the prime in order to create suction and the canister will stop filling up with water and once this Phil are you want to plug it in I'm pretty sure you guys soda and that's basically what's going to happen when waters going down to the canister the outlets pushing all the air that is in the built in the filter so once you see the bubbling stopping you can plug your filter okay so that concludes our how to set up your Fluval canister filter our 206 series and make sure to hit the like button and subscribe the ulam subscribe to my channel and I'll see you next time
