Please explain how to make homemade gnat trap

hey YouTube it's Brian Cole I just wanted to make a video about have some nap problems at my house and give you an easy way to get rid of the gnats first of all what we're going to do is you're going to need a bowl and a cup just to mix the stuff in and what you're going to do is you're going to start out with some water doesn't matter how much it's not really scientific it's just kind of you can put however much you wanted so for I just put some water in the bottom of a glass and to that water I'm going to add a little bit of apple cider vinegar okay and I'm probably going to add about about an equal amount as the amount of water that I had there we go and then to that apple cider vinegar and water I'm just going to add a couple scoops of sugar well maybe maybe three scoops of sugar and we stir it up okay now all you could do is get a bowl a small bowl and just pour it in into the bowl what about that much and then just sit this solution in you know windowsill or somewhere where you see a lot of gnats and then after a couple of days you'll have this is one that I had sitting in my windowsill with a bunch of gnats you can see the Nets what they do is they fly down they're attracted to the the apple cider vinegar and the sugar and they go down into the solution and get stuck in it and can't get out it's very effective it's helping get rid of the gnats in my in my indoor garden so I always have a bowl of this sitting in the window seal right next to my garden seems to be working really great like I said there's no there's no set formula for I don't think I mean some people might tell you you have to use a certain amount of vinegar a certain amount of water and sugar but I find that it doesn't really matter because I've trapped gnats different ratios so just as long as you put those three ingredients in it you'll do fine so just if you have any questions I just post in the comments or if you tried it out and and it's working for you just post in the comments I'd like to hear from you and don't forget to subscribe to my videos I've got some more gardening videos coming up really soon thanks
